For context an offshoot of the BC Conservative Party announced late last year their intent in running candidates in local govt elections – with a potential list that included Salmon Arm. Time will tell. I’ll have a lot more to say about any version of slate’ish politics as the election nears.

Local governments, especially smaller ones like ours, are not the place for party, partisan or slate (they’re all intertwined) politics – period. Slates are not the way that local governments work best. Yes my $0.02 for sure and No I’m not the field referee!
