SOOOOO excited to be able to share the work I did for the @aikotozine.bsky.social !!! it's the first time I ever illustrated a full spread rather than just a single page, which pushed me so much as an artist and led it to become one of my favorite pieces of the year 💙

Digital illustration of Makoto Yuki and Aigis from Persona 3, centered around the theme of a date at the aquarium. On the left hand side of the image is the "first" scene, Aigis and Makoto are looking into a tank full of fish from behind the glass. Aigis watches with an excited expression, hands pressed to her cheeks in awe over said fish, while Makoto gazes at her with a gentle smile. Inside the tank, the multi-colored fish swim, surrounded by cool-colored coral, seaweed, and gray rocks. Bubbles float throughout the tank, and subtle hints of the glass can also be spotted near Makoto's hair.

Framed around them and the tank's glass is a cloudy texture meant to replicate sea foam, bubbling away into the next "scene" of the piece of the right side, which is more abstract in nature. Aigis and Makoto are pictured looking into each other's eyes, gazing warmly at one another against the backdrop of the sea and the glow of the moon. Parts of their clothes wash away with the rest of the water, and the two are separated by a singular school of red fish (meant to be like, "red string of fate" symbolism, aha).

closeup of the first scene! here you can see their expressions closer.

Celebration art for @aikotozine.bsky.social 's launch day! I wanted to draw a little extra thing to show how much these two mean to me. I hope everyone can enjoy the zine as much as I enjoyed getting to participate in it! #persona3 #aikoto #aigis #makotoyuki #fanart

Image Description
Art of Aigis and Makoto Yuki from Persona 3 crouching or leaning close to a cake. The cake is white with blue and yellow sprinkles, blue piping decorating the top and bottom. Tiny doll versions of them stand at the center, holding a blue heart between them.

Both Aigis and Makoto are happy and smiling. Aigis is also poking the Makoto doll with her finger. Both are lit by camera flash.

The background is Iwatodai Dorm's bar and kitchen entrance, suggesting they're at the table. The overlay resembles a camera, with a battery in one corner and a REC label in another. Text between the top and bottom parts of the camera overlay reads "Changing : Seasons. Aigis x P3MC Fanzine"

soul phrase 🌙 (a redraw of one of my favorite official artworks for persona 3!) #art #persona3 #p3

A digital illustration of Aigis and Makoto from Persona 3, meant to be a reverse of an official work. In this, Aigis stares off into the distance with a sorrowful expression, arm raised above her as smoke flows from her fingertips. She is standing in front of a door, cracked in such a way that it resembles a broken mirror. Makoto lies in the background as if laying in a casket, with forget-me-nots (flowers) resting on top of him. His eyes are closed, implying that he has already passed. Other small details include two butterflies surrounding Aigis, and chains that are tethered to Makoto.

The original artwork that my rendition is based off of. In this, Makoto is the one with his arm raised high, with smoke flowing out of his gun. Behind him is a casket with its interior appearing similarly cracked in nature. Aigis is much larger here in the background, staring off into the unknown.

Fanart of Aigis and Makoto Yuki from Persona 3.
Aigis is wearing her Persona 4 Arena clothes, a long black trenchcoat and a tie. Makoto is wearing a regular dress shirt and pants, alongside his MP3. His focus is on adjusting Aigis' tie, not noticing that Aigis is smiling and looking at him.

Some Aikoto based on a dream I had. Makoto kept just jumping into Aigis' back. There wasn't a significant amount of time where he wasn't being carried by her. There was other stuff going on in the dream, but this was clearly the most important part #Persona3 #Persona3Reload
