aikespann.bsky.social @aikespann.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Really like the Sheffield to Uno-X transfer for him. Their approach to aggressive racing should suit him and give him plenty of opportunities to win. Be it in classics or GT stages. Being able to roll attacks with Abrahamsen & Sheffield in the classics next year is quite the prospect for the team. 040

aikespann.bsky.social @aikespann.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Nice win for Max Bock at Coppa Città di San Daniele. Went away solo on the last climb and just managed to hold off the group of chasers to take the win. Great shape he is in at the moment. A nice win for his confidence given this wasn't a straight up MTF but a 10k flat run in to the uphill finish. 060

aikespann.bsky.social @aikespann.bsky.social · 30/09/2026No major changes for German races in the newly published 2027 UCI calendar. Women Cycling Challenge remains a one-day race, Sauerlandrundfahrt a 2.2 classified race. No expansion of Deutschland Tour. Saarland Trofeo is not a Nations Cup anymore. Biggest concern: Cottbus is not (yet?) listed. 250
aikespann.bsky.social @aikespann.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Montréal delivered some great racing. Both Men & Women's races were some of the best worlds editions I can remember. Youth races were good as well. Truly a parcours that was both incredibly hard but also allowed for race tactics to come into play. One to remember! 060
aikespann.bsky.social @aikespann.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Very fun race! Big names all at the front, very deserving winner in Neira. German team good but with bad luck & Bieberle then a bit too spent after her early moves. Impressed by Scout Wellmeier, incredibly strong if tactically questionable. Hope Zara Lamprea gets a chance in Europe! #Montréal26 010
aikespann.bsky.social @aikespann.bsky.social · 24/09/2026He did hang on. Way better result than anyone could've expected after Karl Herzog crashed out. aikespann.bsky.social @aikespann.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Owen Kings with an incredible race. Far above expectations. Not sure if he can hold onto this legs until the finish but surely should bring him some attention from teams if Visma don't promote him into their Dev team #Montréal26 050
aikespann.bsky.social @aikespann.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Very interested to see what Emily Dixon can do in this U23 road race. Course should suit her and FWH is already pacing for a hard tempo. aikespann.bsky.social @aikespann.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Great so see Gal win. Didn't expect this but his Aosta win earlier in the year was very impressive as well. Another rider that thrives at Metec who seem to have a great nose for talent and how to carefully develop them. 040
aikespann.bsky.social @aikespann.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Incredibly impressive by Seixas. Didn't expect him to medal and be this close to Ganna at all (Ganna will be disappointed obviously but still) 030

aikespann.bsky.social @aikespann.bsky.social · 25/08/2026Great ride today by Fausto Penna at l'Avenir. He's a big engine without too much of a specialization so it's sometimes hard for him to shine. But he kinda found his niche in breaks this year and ultra hard days like today suit him well. 000
aikespann.bsky.social @aikespann.bsky.social · 23/08/2026Will be interesting to observe if the race can pull crowds as well once it hits regions not as familiar with the sport. aikespann.bsky.social @aikespann.bsky.social · 23/08/2026Was another great Deutschland Tour.
