I see this movie praised constantly by film accounts and I understand to a degree because it's absolutely gorgeous. The ending just felt extremely creepy to me. I feel like maybe I missed something.

I think the best zelda game since wind waker was the Link's Awakening remake so I'm open to them. I hope there's a demo at least so I can try it first hand. I just hate this mentality of "you have to be excited for this" when it comes to game remakes. No other medium gets treated like this.

I felt the same with star fox but ended up loving it so hopefully I'll change how I feel when I see more. I just think it's weird that I've seen more people upset about the people that aren't excited. Like if you're not excited for a remake of a beloved game it means you hate fun.

They complain about censorship but refuse to engage with media that has been censored in the past. They're terrified of John Waters. They can't tell you what a pink film is. Disney is the opposite of "woke" whatever that means now, because a "woke" movie wouldn't work with the US military.

Something interesting about online chuds is that many of them have conservative opinions based solely on fake outrage. Blaming the left for censorship when historically conservatives censor more than anyone. Too much sex is bad but also not enough sex appeal is bad. They never blame the religion.
