Briefly went to a lesbian night yesterday & it was really really nice to see queer, lesbian & trans joy without any of the cynical, depressing sarcasm that bombards me on the internet. Just people being happy & joyful & nice. And most importantly the absence of cis men made the place feel safe.

Something that I find interesting is the way to be "cool" as a trans woman on the internet seems to be to be edgy or...kinda cold? Kinda "I'm better than you" IRL I am drawn more to trans women who have some vulnerability & openness. It makes me feel more safe & less afraid they could be racist
