My favorite person in all of Pokémon Go is this guy based in Chinatown who multi-boxes three accounts with the same suffix in their name like they’re one big family wearing matching outfits. He invites me to every major raid and we always clear quickly 🙏🏼 If you’re out there, know you’re a real one

Coming off my first Pokemon GoFest very satisfied with the results! Both Galar starter crown forms, both Primal evolutions, both Necrozma and Kyurem fusions, tons of new legendaries, an army of Mega Mewtwo’s, and a bottle cap for my party hat Charizard :)

I’m 32 as of Saturday! I feel the same, but I value my upcoming few weeks of no fewer social obligations more than ever. Here’s hoping for a calmer, gentler year spent with the ones I love

I was in line for a photo booth at a wedding this weekend, and I found this fire fit. Didn’t think anyone would recognize it until the guy behind me does the walk and hits me with the FUFUFUFUFU laugh. We high fived.

I’ve been getting recommended a YouTube channel where this guy identifies video games in the backgrounds of shows or movies, and also by viewer descriptions. This is how I learned about the least google-able PS2 horror franchise of all time 😂

Pokémon Champions is such an unserious game sometimes. I did all this set up with Aurorus to close the game with Freeze Dry, and this said “I go out on my own terms”

Broke my “retirement” from Pokemon TCG to attend a Perfect Order prerelease and pulled an SIR! Now I shall return to my hiding hole with my Ultraman-ass expensive Starmie card until rotation in April…

Among all the chaotic unrest building in the world this weekend, my amazing girlfriend and I got to spend three days in Miami. What a beautiful, culturally rich city. It’s nice to feel like you’re in an English-minority place for once where everyone is proudly speaking Spanish.

Quick Pokemon update because that’s all I post anymore. Made some model kits I got for Christmas, shiny hunting in PoGo, and playing Let’s Go Pikachu for the Creature Quorum podcast (not photographed, haven’t played enough).

My first ever Pokemon regional was in Toronto this weekend! Here’s the list I brought and my 2-4-1 record (I left before round 8 because I was exhausted). What a beautiful city :) I’m glad this hobby gave me an excuse to meet new people and enjoy Canada with my lovely girlfriend ☺️

My last cup of 2025, the first year of my Pokemon TCG career! Changes to Grimmsnarl were basically just adding consistency via Nest Ball and Iono, and the extra E. Switch makes Pecharunt ex a BEAST for closing out tight games. Need to practice it more next year, but happy to have gone out on a 2-3.

Long and tiring Monday, but fun! I got to tour the MBTA’s train and bus parts factory in Everett, and I need my afternoon with 3.1 miles around my favorite track in anticipation of a 5K this weekend…my feet hurt!

We went to the Survivor fan cafe last night! They have two floors with a few games directly from the show, the whole menu is themed, and lots of photo ops. But pricey, but worth it for diehard fans or folks who want a unique date night

I haven’t shown you guys my new car yet! This is Luna :) She’s a 2011 Maxima, and I love her very much. I am quickly remembering how to drive well and it’s great, but I still hate the highway 😖 Thankfully the nearest store that does Pokemon cups is 19 minutes by car with no highway 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄

NAIC was incredible! Had some amazing New Orleans food, won a ton of prizing from the spectator side events, hung out with old friends and new, and got to enjoy the queer night life pretty much every night I was there 😅 Can’t wait to hopefully compete next year.

Fellow ADHD havers or just folks who are bad with timing: This may seem like an obvious tip, but Google Maps’s directions let you set when exactly you want to ARRIVE somewhere and tell you precisely when to leave. This has been a LIFESAVER for me when I never know what time to leave for things!
