I swear to fuck every time I am at a family party with babies or little children the opposite of baby fever happens. I am reminded, firmly, how much i dont want or like most kids. Catch me and the 16 year old ducking inside going "man i hate kids" and hiding out to nap lol

Vastly underestimated how exhausting healing from a surgery can be. I assumed two weeks out of work would be too much time and that i would be good to go and be back to business in a week - yesterday I went to the mall for less than three hours and tbh spent a chunk of that time resting on benches -

At the er for gallbladder pain bullshit again and the dr (who has seen me for both of my other er trips for this situation) just goes "what is the point of me referring patients when they sit on a waitlist" and is now keeping me here until the er's ultrasound tech shows up at 7.

I was tired of not being able to read in my bed without using the overhead light (i have a lamp, but its on my desk across the room so its not helpful for bedtime reading) so I bought a $10 clip on light and now my overhead light never needs to be on again and i can read before bed in peace.
