If we are going to stick to one time, it should be standard time. After all, A.M. and P.M. are supposed to refer to the meridian, when the sun is (almost) directly overhead. Noon should be in the middle of the day. What we should adjust is our schedules, so, for instance, work would 8 to 4. 1/2
