📽️#26: A Goofy Movie despite the name this ends up being pretty down to earth and heartwarming. it also avoids a lot of the trappings of movies like this from the 90s, it felt oddly refreshing in that way. lots of really strong moments throughout, it's a great movie all around

🎮#58: Barnyard (R) for a mid 2000s licensed kids game this has a lot going for it, exploring the open world can be fun, the minigames are mostly solid, it has a lovely soundtrack and striking atmosphere at times. i did play like 90% of the game on 2x speedup though lol

🎮#56: Dancing Eyes really weird but really interesting. it's kind of unbalanced but it's clearly meant to be a quarter muncher. just keep putting in coins and you can see hot girls! but theres also boys and also funny things like a cow or an alien or a fish. very quirky and silly it made me smile

🎮#55: Hi-Fi Rush pretty good! i like the sense of style and the fleshed out combat system, and the rhythm timing for everything is a really fun addition to the genre. dialog is kinda corny at times and there's a lot more platforming than you'd expect, which is a bit meh. still enjoyed it a lot tho

📽️#23: The Little Mermaid (R) the plot is straightforward but has some strong moments here and there, it kinda feels like the prototypical Animated Kids Movie. the characters lack shading for most of the movie, it looks kinda weird. pretty good, but it feels fairly quaint to me now

📺#9: Twin Peaks (S1/2) i don't know if i really have the words for this one, but i know had feelings with it. it's one of the most evocative things i've ever seen, from its haunting atmosphere and music to its lovable cast of oddball characters. this is a show that everyone should watch

🎮#53: Pikmin 3 this goes back to the structure of pikmin 1 which i vastly preferred over 2, and i had a good time with it! not as good as the first game since a lot of it is pretty railroaded and doesnt feel quite as open ended as 1, but the 3 captains allows for a lot of cool routing potential
