An open letter in support of the volunteers and staff at the RNLI
This is a disgrace. Brave RNLI volunteers being called scum for risking their lives to save others at sea is just plain wrong. So I've signed an open letter of thanks for the RNLI letting them know…

From holidaymakers in trouble to desperate families stranded at sea, the RNLI's mission for over 200 years has remained simple: saving lives. The small minority abusing RNLI heroes don’t represent us, so we need to make our support loud and clear.

Bonfires can harm hedgehogs. Bonfires are often built over several days, giving hedgehogs a chance to shelter unseen among the branches. If you have space, pile branches in a quiet corner instead, & leave them be – this is good for all sorts of wildlife! More: littlegreenspace.org.uk/features/wil...
