Jada found a new ambush spot. Her favorite game to play! 😻 #cats #catsky #catsofbluesky #orangecats #orangegirl

Jada, an orange girl cat, sticks both white front paws out of the slightly open plastic dresser door. She snuck in through a gap when the upper drawer was open and made herself comfortable. It makes the most perfect sneak attack zone ever.

Well I finally got my acrylic paint out and made some ornaments... I have more planned! Gonna add the twine later when I get the rest done. ~4 or 5 years ago I made a small series of ornaments like these and sold a handful of them. I haven't made/sold anything in almost 2 years (thanks depression!)

Eight wood rounds are laid out on a desk with plastic-like tablecloth serving as my painting surface. Four are painted a light cornflower blue with snowmen faces on one side and a solid background in the other. The other four are painted a light yellow with darker yellow surrounding the figure of an angel with glittery gold halo on one side and a solid yellow background on the backside. The yellow on the backside is dark in the middle to the light yellow around the edges. All have the addition of "snowflakes" on each side. Each set of ornaments is oriented to show the front of two and the back of two.
Displayed to the left are the paint tray and brushes that were used to paint them. I might share the close-ups later when all are finished.

"Thank you for donating your spot, mom, you're keeping us nice and cozy today." - Stormy and Jada, probably. The cutest little freeloaders 😍😻❤️ #cats #catsky #catsofbluesky #orangecats #orangegirl #graycats

Stormy, a gray tabby girl cat, lays in a loaf position on the left couch cushion. Jada, an orange girl cat, lays on her side in the middle of the couch a few inches away from Stormy. Both girls are looking up at me, which is hard to get them to do at the same time. I had gotten up to use the restroom and they took my spot on the couch together.

The stress I've been under is killin' me. The only things keeping me sane are the kitties, the BF, and counseling. My OCD (I get obsessive) is taking me for a roller coaster ride. Thunder is doing his kitty best to keep me grounded ❤️ #cats #catsky #catsofbluesky #blackcats #snugglebug #mentalhealth

Thunder, a black shorthair boy cat, lays in my lap. His tail is curled up over my leg next to his front paws and his head is lifted in a very zen fashion. His eyes are closed. Imagine him purring very loudly and the picture is complete.

Jada, an orange girl cat, sticks a foot out from the back of the couch. Her paws are all white and she has extra fluff between each toebean.

Another view of one of her back paws from another day. This time Jada's toes on an all white back paw are a bit stretched out, emphasizing the fluffiness of each toebean.

Jada, a very playful orange girl cat, reaches for my phone as I take her picture. She's got trouble written all over her face while she is trying to convince me to just play (it worked)

Jada, a playful orange girl cat, takes a jab at my phone. Her paw fills the photo as a blurry white blob as she is grabbing for it.

It's #caturday, and I am at work thinking about the kitties and the BF. The BF hasn't been doing good at all and will need to see a surgeon. He sent me this pic of Thunder being a very good boy yesterday and it made me melt 🥺❤️ #cats #catsky #catsofbluesky #blackcats #snugglebug

Thunder, a black shorthair boy cat, is curled up on a pink blanket over my boyfriend's lap. They are laying together on the couch. Thunder is my unofficial emotional support animal due to the fact he is so diligent when it comes to us being physically or emotionally unwell. It makes me so happy when he shows the same level of care to the BF.

Jada, a shorthair orange girl cat, is curled up in a laundry basket full of clean laundry. Hey, it's Thursday! Thunder and Stormy are enjoying the sunny spot on the couch and Jada is on a mission. Bug hunting is more important than sunny naps for Princess Jada. #cats #catsky #catsofbluesky #orangecats #orangegirl #blackcats #graycats

On the left: Thunder, a soft black shorthair boy cat, absorbs the heat of the sun from his chosen spot on the couch.
On the right: Stormy, a plushy gray and white shorthair tabby girl cat, is using the sun to help her reach every spot for bath time.
The sun shines through the window behind both cats: the heat still blazing in despite the plastic insulating the sungle pane windows. The curtains will be closed after they are finished with their afternoon lazies.

Jada, a fluffy shorthair orange girl cat, stands on the ottoman searching for a bug to chase. The first one she wanted was, unfortunately, outside and out of her reach, so she has decided to seek out an easier target.

Alicia G @aguentmithril.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

On this #blackcatappreciationday, give your fur babies some extra treats and head scritches! We went to Missoula and there were lots of kittens waiting for homes. If you can, consider bringing a furry friend home. Black cats are less likely to be adopted, despite them being purrfect partners!

Thunder, a soft black shorthair boy cat, is pictured leaning his head into my hand with all his might trying to maximize the ear scratches I was giving him. His eyes are closed, and you can imagine him purring at his maximum volume. Just visible under his chin is his charm on his collar shaped and colored like a candy corn.

At the time of this photo, Thunder is resting in the signature cat loaf position while in my lap. His front paws are tucked neatly under himself as he lays on a sweater blanket I am wearing. He is looking towards the TV on the other side of the room but is not watching it.

The camera has focused on one of the paws Jada has stretched out while on the back of the sofa laying in the sunlight coming in the window. Jada is a fluffy shorthair orange girl cat with white paws. Jada, a fluffy shorthair orange girl cat, sits in the tub and looks up at me with an innocent expression. A.k.a. the Puss-In-Boots big round eyes. Just seconds before the picture was taken, she tried pouncing on something she heard under the tub, but all she did was make a loud THUD on the wall.

Jada, a fluffy shorthair orange girl cat, stares at me with an annoyed look on her face. I just told her "Jada, you're so cuuuute" in a funny voice and she is not impressed. She is curled up on the back of the couch with the curtains closed behind her to help keep it cool.

Yesterday the kitties finally got some outside time ✨️ Thunder sniffed flowers, Stormy rolled in the grass, and Jada was not too sure about her leash so she just did sniffies. We are out in the woods w/ bears, cougars, foxes and coyotes, so supervision is a must! #cats #catsky #catsofbluesky

Thunder, a soft black boy cat, sniffs the plants. I have to watch him closely as he likes to *chomp*
In the pots are a mum by itself and pansies(?) in the other. The mum has a turtle figurine holding a sign.

Stormy, a plushy gray tabby girl cat, sniffs my hand as she explores in her buffalo check halter on our deck.

Jada, a fluffy orange girl cat, lays in the doorway and sniffs the fresh air from a safe perch. Its her first time wearing her halter, so she is taking baby steps before she goes outside.

Left to right are Thunder (black boy cat on my left leg), Jada (orange girl cat sniffing my buzzball cup from the snack tray), and Stormy (gray girl cat loafed on the ottomon next to my foot). For the purpose of this photo, they have been dubbed the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee.

The TV with a no internet message is in the background, the new air conditioner running quietly next to it. In my hand in the middle of the picture is a plastic Tervis cup with cute whales on it, and the contents are whatever the blue Buzzballs are with ice to chill the drink.

All is quiet in the cabin.

It's so smoky out, SO not good for us out here! We've got everything with HEPA filters going all at once. They don't know how good they have it by being indoor kitties. Or, maybe Jada is aware: lookit her stretchie complete with a paw over her face! 🥺😻 #cats #catsky #catsofbluesky #orangegirl

Jada, a fluffy shorthair orange girl cat, stretches all her toebeans and covers her face with a paw at the end of her stretchie. She sleeps on the back of the couch with her eyes half open this afternoon, apparently.

Thunder, a soft black shorthair boy cat, pauses after a quick bath to inquire as to why it's picture time.

Stormy, a plushy shorthair gray tabby girl cat, sits and waits patiently for head scritches while also wondering why I"m not giving her scritches yet.
