More gasoline burned means more gasoline sold. This rule lines the pockets of Trump’s Big Oil buddies and donors. California won’t stand by while this Administration raises costs for drivers, increases our dependence on dirty fossil fuels, and ignores the law.

Fuel economy standards protect consumers by giving drivers more miles per gallon. Yet, the Trump Admin is attempting to gut these critical standards—forcing Americans to spend billions more on gas and increasing our vulnerability to oil shocks like the one caused by Trump’s Iran war. We’re suing.
