Alito already announced he is retiring and they pulled it back to avoid motivating voters; they're going to replace all the Bush nominees (Roberts and Alito) and Thomas in the lame duck session. The only way to fix the court is going to be to pack it, unfortunately. 2016 was our chance to do it.

Just quick reminder that the Republicans had to ram through ICE funding on a reconciliation bill, not because Democrats blocked it but because the Democrats wanted safeguards on ICE to prevent future murders. Susan Collins, Senator from Maine, voted in favor of this reconciliation measure.

Property taxes are levied against home values, as long as billionaires are allowed to piss in the housing market by buying working peoples' homes and then renting them back to them, housing costs will never fall. Higher taxes *lower* prices. What they should be doing is RAISING property taxes.
