AI is an impressive tool and i won't deny that, but when its used like this it's just lame LOL. A lot of these ports are just busted and are clearly made by people that THINK they know what gamers want (they don't). If it keeps going like this, AI will just be considered as low effort garbage.

My two cents on AI recomps/decomps/ports is that you are honestly just better off using emulation, nobody really needs these and those who do wouldn't want a poorly made one. It's all made for exposure, quantity over quality, it's a toy to play with for an hour or two and then everyone forgets.

I can understand that, i feel like undertale had a better difficulty curve, deltarune feels a bit over the place sometimes especially with some encounters being more about endurance than combat

It is halfway through the game i think its somewhat fair to up the difficulty a bit, but take that with a grain of salt since i do like bullet hell games lol.

Maybe in the future i'll make a deltarune review once the whole game's out but one main critique i have is that the game feels like it shifted a bit too much to silly antics and loses itself a bit in the process. Its not bad but i think chapter 1 had the best balance when it came to that stuff :P

I was watching a deltarune critique video and i thought they were making some compelling points but then the guy just derails into talking about how they are bloating the game and making the file size too big which is an insane thing to say for a game thats just 1 GB lol

62. Five Nights At Freddy's: THE FLIPSIDE (2026) Pretty cool and well made fangame but its really flawed in some aspects, fights are too long and tedious, pacing is not the best and some overworld sections leave a bit to be desired, and the final boss softlocked me, i enjoy what i see so far tho.

Like yeah it's more easy to tell an AI to do it but why are you making art if you want to half-ass everything? The last thing i want to do is play a game by someone that didn't care. I don't mind if i'm not "efficient enough" as long as i can look at the finished product and say "i made that".

People using AI to program games is kinda sad cuz i feel like part of the fun with programming is the result of seeing something i coded work and function like i wanted it to, like hell yeah i managed to make a competent dialogue system just by watching some tutorials and having some intuition.
