So I forgot two things about this trial: 1) It’s scarier than I remember 2) It’s stronger than i remember Failed the first attempt at it, but I won the rematch though! But holy shit that actually unnerved me.

New evo, new friend, and new trial!

Coyote Vs. ACME WATCH THIS MOVIE. Not only to support Looney Tunes or to spite the fact it was initially meant to never see the light of day, but because it's a genuinely amazing film. It's the spiritual sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit I never knew I needed. Wile E. is at his absolute best here.

Death Battle - Kai Vs Tahu Stop-motion is an animation style I've been wanting on Death Battle for years, and holy shit did this episode deliver everything I wanted. I couldn't tell who was going to win by the end of this, which says a lot considering how many folks were saying this was a stomp.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Still need to watch the third movie but I love how the film tackles the main conflict of Peter’s fears of his loved ones being hurt vs his need to open up to others. While the villain was spoiled earlier it, didn’t hurt the film at all. Punisher is a delight here too.

Nacho Bear Shorts Somehow I don’t think I’ve seen any of these before I happened upon them while scrolling YouTube. Not much to say besides they’re funny and silly little shorts. Give ‘em a watch.

Caine Vs Tenna I love how goofy and silly the fight got, to the point where half the time it didn’t feel like a fight so much as it felt like a comedy sketch. I wish my boy was able to take home the win but I’ll be damned if he didn’t put on an amazing performance to the very end.

Aang Vs Traveler I don’t really Genshin so I wasn’t as invested in this episode but the presentation and visuals alone made it a blast to watch. I dig how fluid the movements were for Aang especially. Don’t think I’ll pick up Genshin but it got me to play ZZZ again. Also holy shit that next time.

Sentry Vs Superboy-Prime What an episode to come back to Marvel Vs DC for. I love how this episode was more character-driven and story focused, and the visuals and dialogue made this one of my absolute favorites of all time. What else to say but It’s Prime Time, baby?

The Amazing Digital Circus - The Last Act God this is a great way to end TADC. Some stuff I did expect going in, but I found myself surprised by a fair bit. Also, the phones off messages and recap at the start were perfect.

Death Battle - Yuji Vs Denji I’ll fully admit to knowing nothing about Yuji, but from the Denji side of things, I love this episode. I love how they implement his ‘so stupid it’s brilliant’ strategies here, and I dig the backing track a lot. Also Oregon shattering everyone’s minds is hilarious.

Shovel Knight - Shovel of Hope You know a game’s good when you know basically all the story beats going in and it still feels like you’re playing it blind. I am not good at platformers in the slightest but the gameplay is really fun and the cast are all lovable. If ya haven’t already, play it.

The Thursday Murder Club While I was hoping we got a bit more from Ben Kingsley’s character Ibrahim, the core four are a really fun set of characters who bounce off each other well. I enjoyed the mystery itself too, and found myself pretty surprised at points. Hope we get more of this cast.

The Other Bennet Sister Started watching this with my sisters over the weekend, and while I still need to read Pride and Prejudice for myself I can enjoy the story set up. Woman isn’t seen as the ‘good sister’, moves to the big city to find herself, et cetera. Fun watch so far.

Phantom Busters I’m always down for a good paranormal manga and I really enjoy the dynamic the four leads have with each other. The way they handle the exorcisms is also really funny half the time and really cool the other half.

Death Battle: Gru Vs MegaMind It's an okay battle, I guess. I personally feel like a lot of MegaMind's own stuff was ignored or downplayed, but honestly the fight could go either way for me. I do wish we got to see more of MegaMind's arsenal like the mechs, other De-Gun settings, etc. though.

For the curious, this was the team I took to the Hall of Fame. Cammy the Beedrill, Asuka the Raichu, Ms. Fortune the Cloyster, Terry the Charizard, Slayer the Alakazam, and Nine the Gengar. Yes, they're all named after fighting game characters. No, I have no shame.

Pokémon FireRed: NTEVO Mod First time playing a modded Pokémon game(and one I started back in 2024-ish) but I finally got around to playing it. FireRed was my first Pokémon game, and I was happy to finally use Pokémon I always wanted to but never could because I didn't have friends as a kid.

The Amazing Digital Circus(Manga) It's a pretty solid adaptation of the pilot. Some of the jokes do lose their humor due to paneling but it more than makes up for it with the amazing artstyle some of the moments like Kaufmo's Abstraction or Pomni's loss of sanity get. Wonder if we'll ever get more.

If you see this, QTP with a fight you'd love to see. Nine the Phantom (Blazblue) VS Obito Uchiha (Naruto) Theme: Fallen heroes who see the current world as flawed or corrupt, and seek to change it to a 'better' one.

Managing a Wild Idol I love the dynamic the two leads have with each other. Both are utterly burned out by life but one has to try and wrangle the other. I also really enjoy how the manager's self-doubt takes focus a lot during the story, and I'd love to see how that affects their relationship.

Axe-Swinging Elf and Bow-Drawing Dwarf Wanted to get more of the Elf, but I dig the worldbuilding regarding the races. Plus, the reasoning for both using the weapons they do is actually really cool and helps sell the idea beyond 'hey what if they swapped weapons'. Wish there were more chapters.

Bolt ...y'know if I had a nickel for every shoddy Bleach knockoff I'd learned about, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's disappointing it's happened twice.

Boita Boine Only two chapters so far, but I'm enjoying the leads of the story a lot. They're both enjoyable dumbasses in different ways, and I love how they contrast each other. Hoping to see more of this in the future.

Godzilla(1954) Finally knocked this one off my movie bucket list and good lord I can’t recommend it more. even after 70 years it does a great job combining horror and tragedy through the titular monster. The destruction Godzilla leaves in his wake is terrifying, but the aftermath is heartwrenching.

Death Battle - Cell Vs Metal Sonic My biggest gripe with this matchup was that so many people treated it as “The Metal Sonic Show feat. Cell”. Thankfully, Moro and DA made Cell give as good as he got in one hell of a match. The Kikoho bit got me cackling though. I’m skipping the next time.

Indie Duel - The Mimic Vs The Prototype I'm not really big on mascot horror so I can't really speak on eitehr combatant, but I really do love Moro's work, and this fight is no exception. The fakeout ending was especially top-notch. Can't wait to see what future Indie Duels bring to the table.

Time Fight by Terkoiz Time travel is always something that’s hard to pull off well but goddamn does this video do it well. It was amazing seeing all the little details come together, and I had to rewatch a few times to find out parts I missed. Definitely worth your time and then some.
