iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Okay, gonna start a new sprint on my project this weekend. Got everything backed up like...six times so I don't lose my work again. I might multi-stream it on Twitch and Velora. Dunno yet! Stay tuned, I guess??? #GameDev #Godot #Transgender

I find it really harrowing that so many games in the last ten years get SO CLOSE to just being "good games" but then they shit the bed in the stupidest fucking ways possible. Just when I think "This is finally it! They did it..." BAM. Shitty survival RPG mechanics in your sci-fi FPS. Fuck you.

You might think these animations are...a bit robotic? But they ARE meant to be for a golem/construct so...I win. :3 #GameDev #Godot

No, Nixie. You absolutely cannot take your HRT with a shot of apple spiced rum right before driving FOUR HOURS to a doctor appointment on the other fucking side of the state. >.<

"Why do you only listen to the same two playlists over and over, Nix?" Because every single time I leave my music stream on random shuffle, it plays a hundred versions of "To Zanarkand" back to back and I don't wanna fall the fuck asleep while working. >.> lmfao

Okay, I'm pretty proud of this. It's not something I'm actually going to use in my project (the DSD game is gonna be entirely 2D), but it was fun to futz around with Godot's systems. :D

I was gonna work more on the DSD game, but then I found out that I've had Founders access to Soulframe for months now. Sorry, Immy. I am but a humble gamer. 😔

I'm back on here for now. Now the real question...Final Fantasy VII Remake? Or getting called slurs in an Insugency: Sandstorm lobby? xD

We're at $475 raised on the GFM and $273 in other donations! Our very most basic needs are met! Rent, utilities, internet, phone, and parking are paid! Now we just have the car loan, insurance, and inspection! We're both disabled so we REALLY need this car! :O VM: @aGirlNamedNix CA: $aGirlNamedNix

I'm doing my best to hold it together, but I can't handle it anymore. I'm out of money, I'm out of support, I'm out of options. I don't know what to do. I just wish someone would help me.

I don't think I've been so worn out by a conversation in my life. I LOVE to yap! But...my head is spinning. That was a NIGHTMARE. I'm sad I deleted those acerbic vent posts about the prelude to this situation. It would've really made my point clear in a way that debating for two days never could.

Now live with more Vagrant Story! Been almost two years since I last tried to play it. Looks like I might get into new territory today! Already made it through the hardest part of the game (the crafting XD). I also beat a Wyvern last time. twitch.tv/thejapanhobb...

Being in your late 30s is playing too rigorously with your lovely floofy hair and injuring your elbow for a full calendar day. :/

It's really something that it feels like every single teamup ability in MR is super well balanced within each character. I have a rough time choosing between the two every single time. It's so cool!

At some point I have to just admit that I'm doing a full-conversion UI mod for this game. lmfao Thus far I have the menu texts, buttons, item slots, and cursors all customized. I also have macros for my inventory and equipment screens. I need a new job so bad. xD #GoldenSun #FF11

There's an addon for #FFXI that I LOVE that shows a bunch of data on enemies like weaknesses, if they auto-aggro or link, detection types, etc. But I cannot for the life of me find it ANYWHERE. So I made it myself. And I made all the sprites myself. I learned Lua for this. Help me. #GoldenSun

It got worse. I replaced all the text that I could with Golden Sun fonts. I custom-animated and coded barfiller, xivbar, giltracker, tickle, and targetinfo addons to be more like Golden Sun. There is no saving me. My only regret is that I couldn't edit the system fonts, too. >:3 #GoldenSun
