This year's VNConf is gonna be slightly more chaotic than previous years 🤣 it's fine. totally cool. we're gonna just roll with it and the show must go on. Also the kitchen countertops are somehow gonna get delivered and installed during that day. totally normal stuff to be happening mid conference

One heads up about #VNconf 2025, the videos are probably going to take a couple of weeks to get uploaded... because I don't have access to my normal video editing desktop until the house stops being an active construction zone and I pull it out of storage 🫠 Sooo, highly recommended you get a ticket

Ok folks, between home renovation and super chaotic life this year, I'm a bit behind on advertising #VNConf around. Plus social media landscape has been nuked as of recently. So if everyone could help spread the word about vnconf so we have a huge audience for speakers it'd be awesome

It's amusing how the vnconf site is simple enough that it can be rebuilt in under a week of you really know what you're doing (happened in 2021 when the server died) but it also means there's a lot of static things and everything is manual

010

Agilis @aginyan.bsky.social · 05/01/2025

Ugh between food poisoning and kids care responsibilities demolishing entire weekends, I'll need more help from the community promoting #vnconf. So please tell your dev friends about it! It's a great event and usually ~100 ppl attend and make interest connections to other devs

If you ever want to host your own dev conference, probably the hardest task is picking out which talks to accept because there's ALWAYS more good proposals than available slots. And you gotta build an interesting program. the #VNConf community vote gives you a taste of that bit.ly/vnconf2025vote
