Finally knocking out some horror movies from my backlog. Only have 'Obsession' left, I think. - Let Me In: Overrated, rushed, fine - Weapons: Overrated but fun, fine - Backrooms: Shockingly smart, really good

Consuming social media around gaming would make you think PlayStation was the bad game in regards to physical games. Then you look at the insane stats and the story becomes super clear.

That angle you mentioned doesn't seem to be doing much for Xbox, so maybe exclusives is the answer. You know, the reason people buy the other two successful consoles. Then again, no one outside of the Xbox fanbase is going to buy an Xbox at this point, so I guess it doesn't matter.

That is really cool, but that's not exactly a wide spread experience. These digital sales are accessible to everyone who has access to the store. Also, the games you listed...

Say what you will about digital, but the discounts on the PS store and Steam have been better than what I typically find in physical. So many grabs for $20-$7. Now to find the time to finish these lol.

Received word from an anonymous insider. The Sony DRM issue is unintentional. From what we gathered, Sony accidentally broke something while fixing an exploit. They've known about the confusing UI for a while, but didn't see it as urgent. Hoping for a clarifying statement now.

Seeing a Russian immigrant parent arguing beefing with an Icelandic immigrant couple (I could be wrong about this group) in front of a daycare to eventually seeing a Haitian immigrant arguing with a Sudanese immigrant employee of Dunkin Donuts is some peak NYC art.

The "What 'Sexual' Harris Meant" was pretty dark, especially because it was based on an important, real world trial.

I don't see it as bad. To me, it just seems very not traditional Baraka and more Shark-esque (I wouldn't be surprised if that's what the costume or art design used as inspiration). Still, the movie does look good MK movie fun.

I'll never understand why Capcom, Bandai Namco and Arc System Works cared about cinematics and storytelling rather than just producing average anime tier stories.

Late to the party, but Mortal Kombat 1 is really fun and the campaign is impressive. Love how NetherRealm Studios puts in so much effort into the cinematics and without neglecting the gameplay. The dialogue feels amateurish though. Wish game studios hired novelists who are known for good dialogue.

Really hope Powerhouse Animation Studios or Studio Trigger are the animation team behind the Bloodborne anime (more so PAS because of their fight choreography). Netflix's Castlevania and Cyberpunk were great and written as if it were targeting adults and not teens, tweens or even worse; everyone.

Speaking as a person who lives in a neighborhood where a Swedish billionaire who doesn't even live in the US owns multiple buildings in my area, I aggressively welcome this. Now we gotta ban non-Americans and from owning property in the US, especially in NY and Cali. youtu.be/FLKZnVB4F9k
