mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Since @lucahjin.bsky.social was the first time I watched TTYD I felt this was appropriate 😂 000
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 22/04/2026I could also vent all day on the ways I’ve broken the puzzles and how I don’t do things correctly and how difficult I find this to be compared to BOTW. This is only me second Zelda game so yeah. 000
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 22/04/2026I could go on all day about Sidon and my love for him. 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 22/04/2026I just need to say that I’m not over that Sidon got down on one knee and grasped Link’s hand. Like I felt like I was getting proposed to. I adore 🥰 Sidon. None of the other sages did this so it felt really personal. 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 22/04/2026And finally I finished A Marvelous Light. I’m not sure if I’m going to continue the series, I liked this one but I’ve heard the other two aren’t as good. If you’ve read this trilogy let me know! 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 22/04/2026I forgot to get pics but I read Spell Bound (4⭐️) and Love at Second Sight (3⭐️). I adored So This is Ever After and these two were good, but LaSS felt lackluster in that the characters felts 2D. SB was interesting in the sense that I loved how they called out corruption in a magical corporation 😂 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 22/04/2026Then I finally began Dark Water Daughter! This has a slow start but I found it fascinating and I was so interested by the end that I can’t wait to get the next one. 4.5⭐️ 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 22/04/2026Then I read The Dark Becomes Her and sadly this is where I stop reading this author. I love the Tea Duology but her other books have not been it for me. 2⭐️ 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 22/04/2026Then for Arab American Month I read Conditional Citizens. I felt stupid in some ways but I understood the core concept. 3.75⭐️ 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 22/04/2026Did I post this? I think I might’ve so if I did I’m sorry. How to Host a Biking Funeral was an interesting read to me and I remember seeing the viral videos on TT back then. This was even more interesting to see behind the scenes and the analysis of what patterns he saw. 4⭐️ 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 22/04/2026April reading this far! Slowed down because TOTK has me in its grip. 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 22/04/2026I got back into TOTK after like a year and a half break and it has had me in a chokehold for the last couple weeks. Just now got to Kakariko for the story quest. Phantom Ganon was a pain in the ass but not as bad as Mucktorock. 000
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 30/03/2026I don’t think I’ll have time to finish another book, but I am starting How to Host a Viking Funeral tomorrow. 000
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 30/03/2026And finally I returned to Lim’s universe with A Forgery of Fate. Now I had ordered the FL version but then got the OC one in a box. It was one of those weird happenstance’s. This book was really good and I ended up crying at the end. 5⭐️ from me and Lim is another author where she writes I read. 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 30/03/2026-Art in this book. But I haven’t see anything so they’re just suspicions. Otherwise my review was basically recency with future-sci-fi didn’t mix well and it was just….lacking. I’ve read some retellings that are really good—like Most Ardently, that was really good! But this one just didn’t feel- 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 30/03/2026Next up was this stunning edition of Pride and Prejudice in Space. Now I have no rating for this as a lot of reviews said a lot of this book was just copy and paste scenes from the original (which I haven’t read), so I need to read the original to compare. I also have some suspicion on SOME of the- 110
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 30/03/2026I mentioned last time that I was reading Dragonfall and holy shit did I LOVE it. I gave it 4.5 ⭐️ only because sometimes I got a little confused, but this was really good and when my book ban is over I’m running to get book two. I love that it was in the dragons POV. That was really interesting. 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 23/03/2026Currently reading: Dragonfall and I’m really liking it. 000
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 23/03/2026I’ll admit that this one was a bias because I do love her work, but this was really different from her other ones. It did read a lot younger, but I felt it really worked and was a good breather compared to how heavy I’ve found her other books to be. This is also a stunning edition. 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 23/03/2026Then my FL February box arrived and I was stoked. I was planning to buy The Sun and the Starmaker anyway because I love Griffin’s work so I was really happy to get this. This also meant I interrupted my goal to read the books on my shelf that have been there for a year or more and read this ASAP. 5⭐️ 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 23/03/2026And finally I braved The Poppy War. The only thing I knew going in was that this series is devastating. I enjoyed this and how it mimicked the actual Poppy Wars in history and the twist with the gods and shamanism. I’m curious to see how this will develop. 4.5⭐️ 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 23/03/2026Followed by The Deep Sky—I adored The Stardust Grail and this was also really good as well. I thought it was interesting an all biological female crew was selected and I loved seeing each of them work through their own traumas. 4⭐️ 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 23/03/2026Next was a DNF, my first DNF of the year I believe. Godkiller sounded so interesting & I’m pretty sure this was an adult book, but it felt really young in writing. I also wasn’t vibing with it. I DNFed about 40% through. 110
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 23/03/2026For Women’s History Month I read Liar, Temptress, Soldier, Spy. This was about four women in the Civil War and how each of them contributed and hindered the Union and Confederacy. I learned a lot from this and it was really interesting to read. 3.75⭐️ 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 23/03/2026March readings update! It’s been a really busy month so I haven’t had a lot of time to post. But here I go! 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 05/03/2026My book buying ban should be over soon so I’ll be able to align more with the months later. 000
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 05/03/2026-many and had to deviate from it. March is women’s history month so I’ll have a lot of books by female authors and I have one I’m currently reading that’s super interesting. 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 05/03/2026I do try to match my reading to the “themes” of the month. So February was when Russia invaded Ukraine so I red at least one book about it, and it is also Black History month so I tried to read the books on my shelves by POC authors. Sadly I realized that due to my book buying ban I didn’t have too- 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 05/03/2026I also loved how R-Vis got the most information and how it differed from O and L. I’m not too jazzed about the potential romance in L, but we’ll see how it goes. 4.5⭐️ from me. Can’t wait for the sequel. 000
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 05/03/2026Then I ended February with The Strength of the Few and I adored this sequel. It was a bit slow at times but I think the introduction of the parallel universe was really well done and I liked the story for each one. I loved how depending on the information Vis got or didn’t get influenced him. 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 05/03/2026Finally read one of Bindery’s releases Cry, Voidbringer. My review is really contingent on this getting a sequel because that ending killed me. That was a massive cliffhanger for the author to say she might give us a sequel depending on sales from this one. I really hope we get one cause this was 4⭐️ 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 19/02/2026And finally I read one of my Fairyloot books, Seven Deadly Thorns. I was really enjoying this book and the vibes, but then the last 10% took a sharp turn with twists that didn’t make sense and it kinda fell apart and confused me. It also doesn’t explain the secret society or magic at all… 3⭐️ 000
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 19/02/2026Then Recipes for an Unexpected Afterlife! This was a short and sweet cozy fantasy that had me kicking my feet with how cute it was. 4.25⭐️ 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 19/02/2026Next: The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store. This has been on my shelf for a minute, so I figured it was time to finally read it. Despite this being a historical fiction I really did enjoy this. It was a bit tough at times because this was the 1930s, but I really liked it. 4.25⭐️ 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 19/02/2026Started off the month with some learning: Our Enemies Will Vanish: The Russian Invasion and Ukraine’s War of Independence. This was really educational (albeit dry at times) and it makes me wanna pick up more books about it. 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 08/02/2026Also I’m very bothered by the fact that she can feel the truth but doesn’t use it right at all. 🤦🏼♀️ Overall I won’t be continuing the series. 000
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 08/02/2026A lot of the middle could’ve been cut out and I felt like the petty resolution between her and another character could’ve been resolved a lot sooner and they could’ve used their wits for the betterment of the book. A lot of the death at the end was very unnecessary. 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 08/02/2026The world building wasn’t that great…like I still can’t get over that werewolves are essentially faries mutated by stardust. Also that they need to shower and bath but apparently don’t need to brush their teeth? 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 08/02/2026-an in between. She’s also really fucking dim at times despite others telling her what to do. Also this is a YA book, she just turned 17 and there’s a very toxic ML with a lot of fade to black sex scenes which was really weird. The content was also very adult despite being written very YA style. 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 08/02/2026As you can see I got the FL version and I’ll admit I skimmed the summary and bought it because it looked really pretty. I thought this was going to be a girls rise to being Wolf Queen in a poly badass romance. It’s not. The main girl, Vanessa, is either full of lust or rage and there’s barely- 110
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 08/02/2026Back to my physical shelf with Bitten by Jordan Stephanie Gray! I’m gonna go on a bit of a rant up ahead but short end 2.75 ⭐️ from me being generous. #booksky 141
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 29/01/2026Again a lot of my reading have been ebooks from my local library since I’ve been on the go a lot. There’s been a lot of things personal and national that have just made it easier to carry my kobo than a physical book. 000
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 29/01/2026And I forgot to take a picture before I sold it but A Fate So Cold was next! This was a late Owlcrate book and I was enjoying it until it started to break its own canon towards the end. If it’s available on Libby later on I might read the sequel when it comes out but…3⭐️ 100
mozzie @ query hell @agentmozell.bsky.social · 29/01/2026Something in the Woods Loves you by Jarod Anderson, I gave this one 4.5 ⭐️ and it’s was inspiring and very motivating to get myself some help for my own depression and anxiety and just…I really loved the essays in this book. It was raw and wonderful. 110
