An extremely proud McLaren team including all the engineers in a symphony of papaya colours. They are cocooned around Oscar and Lando who have finished first and second in the Chinese Grand Prix.

An extremely smiley Oscar Pisatri so incredibly proudly holding his first place trophy after a sensational win in the Chinese Formula One Grand Prix. You can tell just by how wide his smile is that he knows all of Australia and every McLaren formula one team fan is so proud of him.

The trophy is a stunning cup of bronze with a traditional blue and white Chinese design winding up it.

Bandit is a big black and white Great Dane / Greyhound cross. He is sitting and looking straight at the camera.

Is this the Whyalla branch?

Big boozy dog with an enormous tree branch in his mouth. Tiny little dog hanging from the end of the branch by his teeth

A peahen I had been feeding heard my voice on a teleconference and popped up on the windowsill outside my office. She is staring at me. There is my computer monitor in the foreground. The background is the plants in the garden at the side of my house.

No cats - just a possum eating peaches

A beautiful possum with big brown eyes holds a piece of well nibbled peach in her little paws.

This is the most extraordinary book. It is not an easy read - but I think it is a necessary read. I still keep thinking about it. The characters are so real you feel you could reach and and touch them (and at times, you wish you could). #books
