I'm speaking at a Moth-style storytelling event in downtown Northport this Friday. It's $20/ticket with all the proceeds benefitting the Brother Malcolm Daniel Skateboarding program, which makes skateboarding accessible to underprivileged youth in the area. Come through to support a great cause!

I'm almost back!!! My PT won't be happy with me, but I had to see if I could still roll in and carve. I went slowly, but it felt great to be rolling again! Timeline: Jun 15 - broke leg (Father's Day) Jun 24 - surgery Sep 8 - out of boot Oct 5 - roll into the bowl

I was told to never end on a slam so I got back up and nailed it next try. Without my wrist guards, I'm confident I would've broken something. Wear your pads, folks! #oldskater #longislandskateboarding #skateboarding

For now, tomorrow's session is STILL ON! There might be some moisture overnight, but it's not supposed to rain until the evening. Therefore we'll meet at Noon, and I will have the torch to dry out any remaining moisture. See you there!

Such a great time today in Long Beach with an amazing group of people! John gets the MVP for torching out the bowl, which was really wet when we arrived.

What an amazing day with this great group of people! The weather was amazing, the park was packed, and everyone killed it.

What a great way to start the new year! I got to skate with these crazy people in 30 degree weather, and had a great time. My goal is to try to get in at least 50 days of skating this year (ideally before summer). That might not sound like a lot, but it's tough to break away with two young kids.

Sub 20's out with snow? That's not going to stop this crew. Unfortunately I've been sick, which is why last week's video isn't done, but this group still managed to get together. I honestly love having this crew of people to skate with! Who thought giving Alex the torch was a good idea, though?!? 😂

Another great session in the books! The Long Beach crew showed up again with their previously injured friend, Shawn. We also had a yute sneak into the group: Alice (14) who rips harder than all of us. She was a definite inspiration. Summary video coming soon.

Not skateboarding related, but this Friday I'm DJing mostly old school Hip Hop, R&B, Funk, and Soul at Mama Chan's restaurant in Northport, NY! It's a free event, so if you're free, come on by!

Great session today, even though it was COLD! I added Steve because he showed up after we took the photo, which explains why the color and angle are off (he was standing in the bowl when I took this shot). From the left: Steve, Howard, Allison, Thomas, John, Mark, and Mark.
