80-year-olds George & Gladys met at Age UK Hull & East Yorkshire when Gladys unknowingly sat in George's usual seat. The pair hit it off, and seeing how much they had in common, George bought them tickets to the theatre, and they've been a couple ever since. What a wonderful Age UK love story💜

Even though older people going into A&E face a considerable risk of waiting over 12 hours for a hospital bed, our new data shows that over 100,000 older people had to wait 1-3 days for a bed. This ‘corridor care’ must not continue. Tap the link in our bio now to learn more about it.
