i'm the kind of person to settle for less but the flip side is that i often feel like i already kind of achieved everything i wanted

the idea of having to partake in the economics to be considered useful or successful is utterly capitalistic and unnatural for human beings

That's true, that's what I keep telling myself. It's very hard to keep going unless my brain is immediately satisfied with the result though hence I started and dropped doing art so many times now Maybe in September..,,,

sitting in an apartment im renting, the youtube video im watching ends and i can hear the rain, distant thunder and some seagulls. this is probably the most present in the moment ive felt lately

consciously or subconsciously. like someone reading about a certain "personality type" and being like "oh wow im *basically* that except for like one or two traits" and their brain just sort of shifts their behaviour a little to fit it better. i know i used to/maybe still am vulnerable to that. so

Corey Agallow @agallow.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

i feel like the modern trend of figuring out a label for everything is not really productive because a lot of things can just exist without a label. and fitting people into labels is a little destructive in the sense of a person possibly consciously adjusting themselves to fit a "close enough" label

Apparently owning a car was half my personality among a friend's group because now that I sold it I barely have anything to say. That's considering I just moved to a different country

Instagram has always felt kinda weird to me like I never got into it. I tried using it once in like 2018 but they locked me out of my account and ngl it always felt a little foreign to me. Like most social media

Corey Agallow @agallow.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

You can make an argument about smartphones. Being able to connect to your friends from around the world is nice ngl. But. Being available 24/7 for work n stuff isn't that great The '99 ThinkPad that I mentioned would've made the process a bit more mindful I think. Also works with other laptops btw

Corey Agallow @agallow.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Technological progress is cool and all but outside of medical and engineering applications (which ARE important) any technological advancements beyond like, the 2000s don't seem that necessary. If not for the web bloat, you could've still used a 1999 ThinkPad to do all ur stuff. And probs be happy

honestly it's been incredible to ride so far :] it is very newbie friendly and the 50cc engine grew on me. im considering swapping it w/ a 110cc to keep up with the traffic but with time im starting to realise that i dont really have to keep up with anyone to enjoy the ride ☺️

Was very excited about doing a witch house release but the label rejected it, so bd/yt only for now All the tracks were remixed from their prior YT versions, so there's something new to hear even if you've heard the old versions bandcamp: ytal.bandcamp.com/album/unkept youtube: youtu.be/Ao5ADMkIwOU
