No worries Fabio. Enough space for everyone

Cole👨🏾‍🚀 @afwcole.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

Hmm I’m not sure maybe it’s possible. But sounds like there might be a lot of edge cases you’d have to solve for. Lots of different types of devices people (some may have the processing power some may not). If you go to the site on your phone and you don’t have enough space to hold the model etc

Cole👨🏾‍🚀 @afwcole.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

Oh ok. Do you prompt it to make it black and white and coloring book style? Or you do abit off training? The SD I’m using is also quite slow (very slow actually 😂).

Cole👨🏾‍🚀 @afwcole.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

Currently it’s a stable diffusion model with LoRa. Was a bit cheaper. I will switch to flux soon though

Feels uncomfortable launching a product that doesn’t feel done. But I’m learning to ship more and to ship faster. If you’re not embarrassed by the launch. You didn’t ship early enough. 🤷🏾‍♂️ #BuildInPublic

Replicate disabled my account yesterday which caused such a big delay. Will continue improving the site. Need to work on: - Better & faster image generations. - Cleaner UI. - Fix bugs. The site is currently in "BETA". All data generated during "BETA" will be deleted after launch.

Maybe weekly, monthly and yearly pass is probably the right wording I should use

020

Cole👨🏾‍🚀 @afwcole.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

By 30-day pass I mean you get unlimited usage for 30 days. 365-day pass you get unlimited usage for a year.

120

Cole👨🏾‍🚀 @afwcole.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

The token thing is interesting, I’ll consider it. I’ll start with the one-time payment day passes as it’s a bit simpler. Yeah SEO is my current strategy for this project.

This is looking so good! Where the link? My 4 year old would love that! Is this going to be a BYOK kind of thing or subscription based? (I know I can do this with e.g. Flux directly but having a dedicated space for this isno nice).

Cole👨🏾‍🚀 @afwcole.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

Thanks Eli. I started a waitlist over here: MyColorElf.com I am still deciding on whether to do subscriptions or one-time payment day passes (i.e: 30 Day & 365 Day Pass) with unlimited generations. Would love to hear your thoughts on this?

Interesting will look into it. I'd also love to hear your advice on what makes a good coloring book? Given that you have previous experience with it.

What challenges did you face with your own?

210

Cole👨🏾‍🚀 @afwcole.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

During this 48h build I don't think I will be able to get the best quality ever. I will be working on getting the quality to the best it can be as time goes on. I will add more features to help the user make their generation better, like upscaling, background removal, inpainting etc. Iterate.

010

Cole👨🏾‍🚀 @afwcole.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

Great question Juwariah. The big difference here is that I am putting the creative power in the hands of the customer (parent, child, teacher etc.). They are choosing what meets their criteria for quality. If they don't like something they can delete it, tweak the prompt and create a new one.
