59. lily's world XD (2026) - 7.5/10 First game played of spooky month! I was looking forward to this one for quite a while and have always been interested in this style of game, so I'm glad it turned out well! I wish I had a little more freedom, but still hit me hard.

58. THE RIBBON HERO (2026) - 6/10 The style of this film is immaculate from beginning to end, and the music and sound design work wonders in bringing the action to life. Unfortunately, action is about all we get because the actual plot here is... a bit glossed over, alas.

Wolfie @aftershockwolf.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

57. HoloTrials: Case Covered (2026) - 8/10 An adorable love letter to both hololive and the games it's inspired by, it's hard not to find so much joy in it. As a fan of both of the aforementioned myself, I had a wonderful time here and I hope we get more like it in the future.

56. Fruits Basket (2001) - 7.5/10 Despite it's newer adaptation being the preferred method of experiencing this series via the medium of animation, there's still a lot of charm in this version worth watching it for. The opening for this version is downright lovely by the way.

55. Tsukigakirei (2017) - 7/10(?) Easily one of the most distressing experiences of my life and I wanted to cry or throw up for like half the runtime. This show was a personal attack. Really well written romance though!

Wolfie @aftershockwolf.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

54. Gawr Gura: Quest for Bread (2026) - 7/10 I miss gooba everyday. That said, this game did a great job at making me feel even more nostalgic for the early days of Myth and my fall into this rabbit hole. Fun platformer, silly writing, and the girls we all love. <3

Wolfie @aftershockwolf.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

53. SIX: The Musical Live! (2025) - 9/10 I've loved this musical for a long enough time now where I already knew seeing it would be worth it just for the music. SIX, however, is a hell of a time through and through. It's fun, flashy, cunty, and a message of power. THEY'RE SIX!

Wolfie @aftershockwolf.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

52. House: Season 4 (2007-2008) - 9/10 This is perhaps one of the best soft reboots of a tv series I've ever seen on top of continuing to be an excellent medical - and, more importantly, human -drama. The last 2 episodes of this season are genuinely peak television oh my god.

100

Wolfie @aftershockwolf.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

51. Pokémon Legends: Z-A (2025) - 7/10 Kalos feels like another home to me considering how much time I spent playing X when I was younger, and it was so nice being back. Unfortunately, the story and gameplay loop didn't do as much for me as I'd hoped, but I still had fun!

100

Wolfie @aftershockwolf.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

50. Hadestown: The Musical (2026) - 10/10 This is my odyssey. (My odyssey is actually EPIC, but don’t worry about it!!) I’ve kind of avoided Hadestown on account of the fact that I really wanted to experience it whole before experiencing any part of it… and it was so worth it.

Wolfie @aftershockwolf.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

‪49. The Odyssey (2026) - 7/10‬ ‪I have been exceptionally spoiled by EPIC in these recent years in terms of Odyssey adaptations, and I do think the lock that musical has on me somewhat diminished my thoughts on this film.‬ ‪Still a great work, though, and clearly passionate. ‬

100

Wolfie @aftershockwolf.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

‪48. SHIBOYUGI: Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table 44: CLOUDY BEACH (2026) - 9/10‬ ‪Most responses I’ve seen to this film only reinforce the understanding I have that most viewers of this series do not understand it at all.‬ ‪This is unfortunate since it’s incredible. ‬

And that's a wrap for the awards! I watched a lot less this season than I normally do, but everything I did watch was kind of incredible in it's own right, so this was a very hard one. Regardless, I hope some of your favorites escaped with the crown, and I'll see you next time

I'm seeing all the other prominent anime ranking sites doing their lists so as a totally legit source of anime scoring myself, I want in. That said, welcome to Wolfie's Spring 2026 anime awards! Thread Below~ vvv

Wolfie @aftershockwolf.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

47. Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010) - 9/10 I know Playstation is in pretty deep with the gaming community right now, but I was blinded by nostalgia and copped these ports anyway. I have zero regrets though and even though I grew up more with BO2, BO1 is still a fantastic shooter

100

Wolfie @aftershockwolf.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

46. Unanswered//butterfly: Sword Art Online (2026) - 6/10 This was pretty solid for some weird game tie-in film thing for Echoes of Aincrad, but it's not the best experience on it's own necessarily. Still, Polygon kinda showed off their stuff here and it all came together well

100

Wolfie @aftershockwolf.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

45. ONE PIECE HEROINES (2026) - 8/10 I've never seen a single episode of, nor have I ever read a single chapter of One Piece, but I decided to check this out anyway, and had a really good time with it! Beautiful animation with Nami taking the reigns - it's a lovely little time.
