The design of the Heart Eyes killer is super underrated. As soon as I saw his eyes I knew that I HAD to draw this character. Plus, he's got a lot of really cool props and weapons that fit the theming. Mega underrated movie! #horrorart #inktober #inktober2025 #hearteyes

The mask for the Heart Eyes killer is literally too cool to be ignored! I hope he makes his way into the iconic slasher hall of fame because I was so excited to see this design. I think he deserves it. #horrorart #inktober #inktober2026 #hearteyes

Whenever I give a food scrap to by dog, I'm immediately transported back to 15,000 years ago when my ancestors were throwing scrap meat to a wolf. Yes my child... connect with your ancestors! BEG FOR A SLICE OF DELI TURKEY

It has been a VERY moody October here in Florida so far. Lots of rain, and thunder, and dark and stormy nights!

I just love her dress so much, I couldn't help by try to draw it. ALSO, I'm maybe a little bit bad at capturing resemblance because that is NOT Mia Goth. I don't know who she is... but it's not Mia. #horrorart #inktober #inktober2026 #pearl

Had to try to get one more fun fact in there right at the end! Also, I TOTALLY forgot to put any blood on her at first. I kept looking at the illustration thinking "something is missing???" It was blood. #horrorart #inktober #inktober2026 #pearl

Womp womp, time has officially caught up with my Inktobers, lol. I'm finishing 'em day by day! Hopefully they'll still come out on time each da, but there MAY be delays

000

Man, I am BAD at estimating how long tasks will take me. I swear I think every single thing can be completed in 1-3 hours.

000

I debated SO hard whether I wanted to draw the classic version of Nosferatu or the new version. The 2024 version has SUCH an awesome aesthetic, but I thought it would be out of place with the rest of my classic so.... #vintagehorror #inktober #inktober2026 #nosferatu

Honestly... IDK if Nosferatu would've lost its copyright infringement lawsuit if it was made today. MAYBE, but they did honestly change a lot of the plot points and lore compared to Dracula. I'd be curious to hear from any copyright lawyers lol. #vintagehorror #inktober #inktober2026 #nosferatu

The most delicious kind of migraine! The one where it feels like I'm being lobotomized through my eye socket. Don't mind if I do

ONE WEEK OF INKTOBER DOWN! Unless I already failed. I wouldn't know, I'm scheduling this post in advance, but I have confidence in future me #inktober #inktober2026

Not very many horror movies spawn genres like Night of the Living Dead did. Basically all modern zombie media is somehow traceable back to this one, microbudget movie from the 60's! #vintagehorror #inktober #inktober2026 #nightofthelivingdead

I can't stop thinking about this one scene where a zombie extra just absolutely TEARS into some intestine? Now that's commitment. #vintagehorror #inktober #inktober2026 #nightofthelivingdead

I feel like I can only take like two or three days off of work before I'm incredibly bored! I think I might need to, like, practice relaxing? Hmm

000

I'm watching all these old monster movies while I'm drawing. Man, they are SLOW compared to modern cinema! It's kind of nice #vintagehorror

Did you know the iconic hairstyle of the Bride in The Bride of Frankenstein was styled using the actress Elsa Lanchester's real hair? It was draped around a wireframe, then permed to hold that massive hairstyle! #vintagehorror #inktober #inktober2026 #thebrideoffrankenstein

The sequence of Victor Frankenstein creating a mate for the monster does exist in the book by Mary Shelley, but she is destroyed before she can be brought to life, unlike the hissing Bride of the Universal Monster movies! #vintagehorror #inktober #inktober2026 #thebrideoffrankenstein

Bleh, the one thing I'm enjoying the least about Inktober this year is that I've been so busy I haven't been able to read at all! Good bye loans at the library that I never even opened after having on hold for months... you will be missed

'Tis the season to look around Spirit Halloween for an hour and a half without buying anything

Some scrub ass man got the credit for the design of the creature for decades when it was really designed by Millicent Patrick, an accomplished Disney animator and the very first woman to work in sfx makeup. #vintagehorror #inktober #inktober2026 #thecreaturefromtheblacklagoon

Hello Acolytes! We're chugging ahead with Inktober! I've officially got Week 1: Classic Horror completed, so moving on to our Week 2 Theme: Modern Horror! I've got some fun ones on the list that I'm excited to work on #twitch YouTube: www.youtube.com/@afterplague Twitch: www.twitch.tv/afterplague

I always thought this design was SO GOOFY, but he's actually a really well done sculpt. The level of detail in the hands gets me especially. AND the whole thing was durable enough to be worn in the water without being damaged! #vintagehorror #inktober #inktober2026 #thecreaturefromtheblacklagoon

I tried doing Inktober with actual ink in 2024, but it made me so nervous I had to bail lol Maybe I'll try again in 2027 #inktober

My Inktobers are turning out less like "inked" pieces and more like full illustrations. I keep telling myself to back off a bit, but the art wants what the art wants #inktober #inktober 2026

The visual effects of The Invisible Man are absolute stunning for 1933 (and even for today!) Did you know, around 63,000 frames of film had to be retouched by hand to perfect the invisibility effect? #vintagehorror #inktober #inktober2026 #theinvisbleman

I didn't even have time to go into how they did one of the coolest visual effects in this movie! I might have to make a longer video about this absolute CLASSIC. You should go watch it, seriously. #vintagehorror #inktober #inktober2026 #theinvisibleman

Best way to stay motivated? Treat Wheel: #adhdhacks

I want to bake cute fall themed treats, but I don't have an OVEN Maybe I can bake one cookie at a time in the air fryer...

000

I had a LOT of fun with those bandages, but you can probably guess that they took FOREVER to INK! Fun Fact: This movie was partially inspired by the discovery and exploration of King Tutankhamen's tomb! #Inktober #inktober2026 #universalmonsters #themummy

Day 3 This isn't my favorite of the classic universal monster movies. I find the pacing a bit slow and the story a bit too similar to Dracula, but the makeup? OOO, it's insanely good. Worth a watch for the sfx alone. #vintagehorror #themummy #horrorart #inktober #inktober2026

I love reading horror books in October specifically, but it's also my busiest time of the year to draw and post because of Inktober! I want to read so badlyyyyy

000

If you've been in my Twitch streams recently I'm sorry that they've been 80% fun facts about Universal Monster Movies... I'm actually not sorry. Did you know the dog in The Wolf Man was a security dog that lived on the Universal Lot? The "actor" dogs weren't biting viciously enough lol #horrormovies

Vampires and werewolves... The two most iconic movie monsters imo Fun Fact: The dog that bites Larry Talbot was named Moose! He was a dog that lived on the Universal Lot and worked security. He was adopted by Lon Chaney Jr after filming wrapped #inktober2026 #inktober #universalmonsters #thewolfman

Day 2 I've always thought that this version of the werewolf looked a little silly, but I have a greater appreciation for him now! The little rubber nose is very cute, actually. #vintagehorrorart #thewolfman #inktober #inktober2026 #classichorror

Me, reading Horror Books: ooo, that was fun and spooky! What a gross description! I love horror :)) Me, watching Horror Movies: #horror

000

Diving into Inktober with some classic horror movies villains, and I had to begin with the most iconic of all: Dracula! Fun fact of the Day! Bela Lugosi, the actor who plays Dracula, was only hired after he agreed to take a substantial pay cut. #inktober #inktober2026 #dracula #universalmonsters

Day 1 The vampire's vampire... DRACULA! Get to know a little bit more about this classic monster movie. I was trying out a new-ish illustration style here and a whole bunch of new brushes, so drawing this took me FOREVER #inktober2026 #inktober #dracula #vintagehorror #horrorart

It's the most wonderful time of the YEAR #Halloween

Shows that try to break their genre conventions are always walking a very thin line. Media is structured certain ways for a REASON, and if you're going to deviate, you need to be very good at what you do Full review of Hazbin Hotel Season 2! #hazbinhotel #sera youtu.be/0dDsg91o3gc

Every good show out there makes a promise to the audience about what they're going to experience, and then it follows through on that promise. That's what makes a story satisfying. Full review of Hazbin Hotel Season 2! #hazbinhotel #sera youtu.be/0dDsg91o3gc
