Dialing in input handling for our JS + BITECS game! Keys get registered in createInputSystem. we store them in world.input.keys, in Input Component we set up the data structure, our battle system reads that data from the world object. Simple but effective! #GameDev #JavaScript #ECS

Just realized requestAnimationFrame() is tied to the monitor’s refresh rate. Won’t matter for this game, but if I add physics or movement later, it could be an issue. So I went ahead and implanted deltaTime! 🕹️ #JavaScript #GameDev #ECS

14 hours there and back. The car feels great. Our Tein suspension and Detroit Axle control arms made the car handle really well. Its sick to think how much work we done to this thing. Clutch, breaks/rotors, wheels/tires, Ctrl Arms, front and rear shocks, lowering springs. On jack stands / curb :D

Replaced the front struct with some #tein struts they have adjustable damper and ride height! Lowered it 1/2 inch looks and feels great! Started playing #megamanzero making me want to put the wrench down and pick up the keyboard :p #cars #yaris #toyota

Our good friends #toyota #matrix is having a lean engine code. So far Ive narrowed it down to a gasket in the valve cover or intake. to my surprise it was damaged! We went to the #junkyard and got another one! Gasket replaced. Lets see if the code comes back 😅

I see a lot of #gamedev asking for "feedback" . but i see few responses. I think this could be due to not asking for something specific. Forming your ask in a way that sets up an objective will allow the user to give better feedback. ex - "we want our jump to feel unique. how does it feel to you?"
