So excited for these embroidery kits from @hooklinetinker.bsky.social! 🪡 The packaging was so cute, as were the instructions and guides! Unfortunately my wrist hurts from some heavy duty cleaning I did yesterday, but I hope I can start on these sooner than later. 🤞🏽
A photo of two embroidery kits. On the left is a kit for contains an image of a croissant and coffee cup. On the right is a kit that has an image of an owl and text above it that reads “I read past my bedtime”.

Made a bit of art for the reading nook!
A photo of a framed canvas on a table. The canvas is orangey (cloud-like) and there is cursive text on it that reads “a book a day keeps the tedium at bay!”. In front of the framed canvas is an ereader with a remote control for it on top of it.

I’ve got a long wait before I’ll be able to appreciate your insight 😅
A screenshot of the Libby app which shows a hold placed for a digital copy of the book Yesteryear. It shows that I am 1296th in line, with 27 people waiting per copy of the book available (my library has 50 copies licensed).

Made a cute #book counter with a 3D printer! This number is up to date as of today; my #Kobo and my library really makes it so much easier to read more books more often! #booksky
A 3D printed bookshelf that has two shelves. There is a miniature red balloon elk figurine beside the bookshelf. On the top shelf is a miniature cactus in a white planer. The backboard on the top shelf is big and curved with an arch and in the middle is the text “Books Read This Year”. There’s a miniature green Bulbasaur Pokémon, white ebook reader, and a red, grey, and black book. On the bottom shelf are three books stacked that are green, blue and pink. On top of these books is a heart figurine that is sat. As well as there are two blocks that have the numbers 3 and 2 painted on that represents the number of books read.

I’ve been on a serious reading bend (for me who rarely feels they have time to read), especially since I got an ereader. I hadn’t checked out a book from the library in years until I got this Kobo! Collage made with @thestorygraph.com, a terrific alternative to Goodreads.
A collage of book covers that show what I’ve heard since the beginning of 2026. They are: Avatar, the Last Airbender: The Search, Jollof Rice and Other Revolutions, Hench, Swim Team, The Hate U Give, Twelve Years a Slave, Piranesi, Interpreter of Maladies, Denison Ave, The End We Start From, The English Patient, and All the Colour in the World.

Christian radical leader does and says radical Christofascist shit Americans: oh my god what are we, an Islamic theocracy??
A post that reads “radical bearded cleric issues new fatwa” to describe a screenshot from CSPAN of the US VP Vance saying that America will always be a Christian nation.A commenter posts an altered photo of Vance as though he is an Islamic cleric or imam. Another commenter below writes “Amen er Allah” followed by “Amen … Allahu … Om… searching…”

"What this country did to us, it did to itself," she said. [ … ] "I hate to admit it," she said, "but for all we hear about the States, Canada's capacity for racism seems even worse." — Obasan by Joy Kogawa (pub. 1981)

And then the class ended with C.R.E.A.M. playing. I love my job. 😌

🥳 Eid al-Fitr Mubarak! 🫂
An image of Eid al-Fitr greeting that is warm toned with yellow and orange hives. Geometric shapes border the edges, and a silhouette of a mosque is at the centre-bottom. There are four dangling lanterns at the top, two on each side. At the top-centre is a waning crescent and star (symbol for Islam). In large serif font, the greeting reads, “Eid al-Fitr Mubarak!” Below that is a message: “May this auspicious day bring peace, joy, and prosperity to you and your loved ones!”

A comic by Bors. Person in medieval era carrying kindling says, “We should improve society somewhat.” A modern-day era man poking out from a well replies, “Yet you participate in society. Curious! I am very intelligent.”

Even though I read the foreword, I find myself wondering about the meaning of the morsels Morrison gives us in the 1st chapter and enjoying uncovering the story. Also, I can’t help but read Sethe as seethe, and, honestly, is that so far off? #BelovedFebruary
A photo of a page from the book Beloved by Toni Morrison. This page describes how the main character, Sethe, came to choose the single word to engrave on the headstone for her infant daughter.
