For comparison, below is a screenshot of the same search via Startpage. And as someone else pointed out, the text in the Google search comes from a reply to Mamdani's tweet, NOT his actual tweet linked by Google. Sheeeeeeesh...

Rafa Márquez is now officially the new head coach for Mexico’s men’s national team, as we all expected. I asked him two years ago about his thoughts on the possibility of coaching the national team and this is what he said (in English & Espańol):

“For that job, I have to keep working, I have to be well prepared, I have to attempt to create my own guarantees to try to earn that job. And that’s my idea: to continue preparing myself, gaining experience to achieve that, God willing, and do a great job at it,” he said.

“I believe that my mentality, my values, need to be the same as when I was a professional athlete, with the intention of making history, no matter where I’m at, to try to be the best, wherever I may be and with the values that my father gave me: that if I commit to something, that I do it well.”

Anyone who watched Telemundo / NBC Universo last night saw a familiar face! Diarios De Fútbol Con Rafael Amaya premiered last night, and I am one of the featured guests on the documentary. I spoke about the history of the LA Aztecs of the NASL, which I wrote about for @lataco.bsky.social in 2018.

The alert I received came directly from the university, which I saw first before seeing the posts about ShinyHackers here on BSky. I hope this is a positive sign for CSU's data, but I really don’t know. 😓😓😓
