afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 02/09/2026I am a JRPG guy but I can say that Marvel Spiderman 1 is one of the best non-JRPGs I've played for sure. Never turn a blind eye to other genres I'd say! 000 0

afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 07/07/2026I may not have PS5 but seeing Sony's dynamic pricing on digital is already bad enough, I don't want to imagine if they get to dictate digital prices. If they hiked it up, others will have to follow suit. Absolute greed & the practice most likely will screw over non-dollar third world countries. 001 1
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 27/06/2026I am curious about that infamous mighty no. 9 since it is 90% off, but is it worth my time...? 000 0
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 22/06/2026Got darksiders warmastered. Looks like a good deal & hopefully it served me well this year. Really need to hold my wallet close for 2027 lineup. 000 0
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 09/06/2026Those SGF reveals & Xbox Games Showcase reveals are crazy! 2024 was a great year for JRPGs 2025 is too, GOTY is a JRPG 2027 will be another great year for JRPG releases! 000 0
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 23/05/2026Trails series – at least Cold Steel games that I played – may be the first game series that consistently hit at least 80+ hours that never bores me during all of those hours. 000 0
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 02/05/2026Seriously though, trying trails of cold steel on last december already paying dividends lol. On a dry jrpg year the series helped fill my jrpg dose. 010 1

afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 18/03/2026Randomly remembering during covid years I replayed Bomberman Fantasy Race using emulator. I'm not even 30 yet but i cannot use the launch pads anymore. Always mistimed it & my louie / tirra just falls... How the heck did my childhood self regularly do that?? 001 1
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 02/03/2026I wish bluesky has image browse on the search tab 😶 Twitter's one is unbelievably broken & I'm still using it because most JP artists post there (and cosplays too). I think exposure on arts / images can help grow this platform's reach. 000 0

afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 01/01/2026My 2025 finished games. If 2024 - 2025 was the start of my Yakuza/Like a Dragon rabbit hole, then let 2026 be my Trails series rabbit hole (lol). 000 0
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 28/12/2025I ended up getting myself Quartet since it gets praised a lot (and advertised a lot by the dev here) + Xuan-Yuan Sword 7 for an action game. Well, i guess that's my belated Christmas buy & my winter sale wrapped up. 000 0
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 23/12/2025I like Jusis, he's hilarious. Noble status, has witty remarks, and deadpan face/delivery. If he were a real person he has a talent in british comedy. 000 0
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 22/12/2025- caligula effect 2 - ff8 remastered - cold steel 2 Idk what else to get this winter sale. I either had no interest or is interested but afraid it became a bad purchase. Why am I still putting so much effort into thinking my game purchases lol. 010 1
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 16/12/2025Also enjoying cold steel I (started this month) & gotta say the NPCs felt alive & you can talk to all of them. Its definitely the charm the game (or series?) has over modern jrpgs where the npcs feel so basic. 010 1
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 16/12/2025Yugioh link evolution is so good & enjoyable for someone used to playing tag force. Can't believe I was hesitating a lot before buying the game lol. 000 0

afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 19/11/2025Persona 3. Going in blind (both to story and series) was unique. Really opened up my mind to the franchise since then. 000 0
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 18/11/2025Happy to see digimon in TGA at least one category. Expedition 33 too has a shot at GOTY. Here I thought 2024 was a good year for JRPG, 2025 is too! 000 0
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 27/10/2025Do people with a huge backlog of games still feel that "post-game emptiness"? Or do they (or you) just be "alright, onto the next game" like doing a mission checklist? 000 0

But anyways, being able to explore even just a bit of Kabukicho (theatre square even!) and Shinjuku underground mall in Digimon Time Stranger feels like a wet dream for Yakuza & Persona fan (ME). Awesome game even if its just exploration alone. 000 0

afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 03/09/2025AI Limit is a good game so far (3 hrs in), but the parry is weird. Its either very selective on what Arissa can parry or the timing is super tight. Idk which one is true here. 000 0
afrase @afrase.bsky.social · 19/08/2025Metaphor has fun combat but idk why leveling here is so damn slow. I am at virga island lvl 38, doing all sidequests from grand trad to brilehaven + a bit of colosseum, but the end game is supposed to be tackled by lvl 70+ ? Bruh? 000 0
