Why JavaFX? A desktop app suits talking to various test devices over serial, and as I'm already writing the backend in Java, why not keep the language the same? I've also been impressed by the applications and libraries shared via @jfxcentral.com Creating an internal tool for automated test recording of temporary power equipment. Day one: sign-in screens done, using the new StageStyle.EXTENDED for seamless window controls and Lottie4j for the animation playback. #JavaFX
