And, as a small bonus and thank you, early donors that give $10 or more can claim a Chronic Chaos era temporary tattoo! They take about 3 days to fully develop and last 1-2 weeks.

Closing out Disabled And Here: Possible Futures is @nearsh0t.bsky.social, who brings us to a world where disabled people are stewards of nature, hydropower, and biothermal technology. Meet Ty: affecttheverb.com/2026/ty-inte...
Illustration of a Black woman Elder sitting in a grand mobility chair embroidered with vines, fruit, and foliage. The padded chair has robotic feet and is connected to a hydroponic garden, with a leafy canopy roof. The woman reaches up to grab a passion fruit off the canopy. She wears a headscarf, long locs, choker, ankle-length tube dress, and sandals.Photo of Ty, a Black agender person, outdoors while wearing a wide-brimmed striped hat. They also have cat eye glasses, shoulder length locs, and a pink and black Kirby shirt. A quote by them overlays the bottom of the photo, “I wanted to imagine a world where we don't treat nature as an obstacle, but as a companion to our community. That would still exist and has existed, but here I wanted to push it to the extreme...
Because of the ways in which nature helps us in this future, we would be the keepers and teachers of the knowledge these plants provide.”

Disabled And Here’s third Possible Future was drawn into being by @dooberlane.bsky.social, as a time and place where teleportation could be accessible and bring friends together more often. Meet the illustrator, Michelle Zhuang: affecttheverb.com/2026/michell...
Illustration of three disabled friends gathering for hot pot.

On the left, a Black and Asian transmasculine individual beams into their friend’s home with a bag of fruits and vegetables. They wear glasses and a glucose monitor with a hologram display on their hip, and the teleportation device above them announces, “Arriving from: Chicago.” Next to the teleporter, a South Asian non-binary person walks over with their quad base cane. On the right, an East Asian woman sits at a height and width-adjustable table in her power wheelchair, raising a hand in greeting while a cat rests contentedly in their lap.

On the table is a steaming pot of hot pot soup base and a small assortment of meats and vegetables.

Disabled And Here’s second glimpse into a Possible Future comes from Sunmi (IG: sunmi_comics), drawing from their experiences with Korean saunas and taking it to the magical, fully healing level. affecttheverb.com/2026/sunmi-i...
