I've been asked about the impact of Unal deal on SCR at #afcb. It’s complicated: Disposals are averaged over 3 years so 1/3 of the P&L loss hits - £2.4m. But we save amortisation - £3.6m pa, & salary - £1m pa. The net effect is that perversely this deal IMPROVES the SCR position by £2.2m!

Been asked "How much can #afcb spend this summer?" Its not so much how much CAN it spend, but how much is it WILLING to spend. The player trading appetite seems to have reached a plateau with cumulative #BKFC-UK funded Net Spend flattening out around £250m. That may be the limit.

The initial emotion has subsided & I’ve come to a more rational view about Mr Iraola leaving #afcb. Mr Foley said “You can’t get too attached to players”. I guess the same applies to coaches. Liked the bloke. Loved his football. But that’s now the past. The club is the only constant.
