With all the bizarre and violent news from the US, this piece from @theguardian.com keeps coming to mind. Violence is what appealed to the nazi-voters, violence is what a lot of voters now are probably craving for. www.theguardian.com/world/2026/o...

Might as well be a reference to the casinos (where they probably have messed it up). In any case, the Kremlin has one of these, the Taj Mahal doesn't. Great find!

By the way, we also have this exquisite copy of a 1558 Froben print of the Iliad and the Odessey. Less colourful, but still, look at that print 😍

One of my frustrations is that I don't have Greek - so now I feel like a donkey playing a bag pipe. Also, neither has Matt Damon, say people who saw the film. This is the last letter - and yes, you can all be jealous of us having this tremendous book. (6/6).

At @tresoar.bsky.social we keep one of the nicest copies op de Greek *Editio Princeps* of Homer's Odessey and Iliad - it also happens to be one of the very first books printed in Greek ever. Wheter or not Nolan's retelling is for you, these stunning handcolored capitals should be! (1/x)
