Then just a few weeks later I got laid off. Normally I'd just say it is what it is, but man, that's a lot to digest in such a short amount of time. I haven't been able to sleep at night from the constant whirlwind of emotions.

I rarely post about my life, mainly because I just keep my head down and enjoy working day-to-day, but September was so brutal I can't help but still be hurting. Exactly a month ago we had to put down our 6 year old cat, Tristy, because she had Large Cell Lymphoma. Absolutely robbed of a long life.
