Being a Silent Hill fan is so exhausting because 90% of the supposed fanbase has literally never actually played or understood the games. I can't think of a single other franchise where the majority of people who claim to be fans don't even understand the surface-level themes.

Debut stream is over! TYSM to everyone that came by! So happy with how the model turned out! The game itself had some scuff so we had to end a little early, but we'll get things fixed and do more on Sunday! TY as well for the raids! We raided out to @clairaclover.bsky.social doing a cozy night!

Was saving Carter's Quest for next Pride Month charity event, but I think we'll play it after Retro Spooktober instead. Been following this game and goba for a while now and it's been cool to see all the progress. Please support your indie devs (also pick up Carter's Quest, its only $6 rn)

Currently back in the Midwest for a visit, and I'm sorry, yall, but it sucks so much here lol I don't at all miss feeling like I'm wading through soup every time I leave the house. I feel like every shower is just a losing battle with sweat 😩

The way the comics handle Samus's PTSD and trauma is SOOOO much better than how Other M did as well

These people are insane. A menu that faded means they've been making the same things the same exact way for AGES. You know they know what they're doing and its gonna be one of the best things you've ever eaten

tbh, nothing. I love Metroid but the story is mostly in the background and they're pretty detached beyond occasional references. But Dread, specifically, would be the one right before this.

Not in-person. I called the local dealership to ask if it was true that they were nixing carplay/android auto. They confirmed it and tried to get me in to test it to prove its just as good, but I told them I wasn't interested as that was a deal-breaker.

This is me. I was gonna pick up the 2027 Bolt since I sold my 2023 (thanks to SAVE being scrapped and student loans going back up). But as soon as I saw that they scrapped phone mirroring for a purely Google-service and subscription model I was out. I'll save longer for something better.

I've been constantly seeing it already and it drives me crazy because ITS NOT THE SAME THING lol WW discourse was because of Nintendo dropping that fake spider fight cinematic as a "look at what zelda on GCN could look like!" thing.

010

Aether - Cozy Horror 'tuber @aethervt.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Yeah, idk, even ignoring the over-detail of the Kokiri clothes & Link's equipment, there's just a weird clash of styles between characters. Both Malon & Zelda are Hylian children, but Zelda has way more "realistic" eyes that are off-putting to me. I'm like 50/50 on everything in the trailer 🙃

Screenshot from the Ocarina of Time trailer showing Malon. In particular, her eyes are in a very similar style as her original N64 version and looks pretty stylized.

Also, man, as Wind Waker's biggest defender- Its fine to be totally happy with the OOT remake, but I'm seeing more defenders with shitty attitudes than dissenters. Reducing valid criticism of the visuals as "crybabies" is loser behavior

011

Aether - Cozy Horror 'tuber @aethervt.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

This basically sums up my opinion on the OOT remake rn. I think everything else looks fine, but Link's entire getup + the Kokiri's outfits just feel WAY too over-designed and detailed to where it clashes with the semi-stylized designs imo
