v0.2 also adds new ways for the OS and apps to understand context through an underlying system we call Conduit. Now, when you ask Operator about something, it can read different app channels and run tools directly from those data sources.

With Substrate running, you can create a dev container from the Tangled app or clone from any git repo. Then open it in our new code editor, Nekodo, manage terminals and jobs in Containers, and let Operator work against the same sandboxed file system.

We've added support for Substrate, our open source container you can run on local hardware for secure remote access with Aether OS. It has a CLI for config and lets you create containers, run atproto tools like Goat/Tap, communicate with local LLMs, and create embeddings from your atproto records.

Aether OS 0.1.2 is live with more bug fixes, UI tweaks and one exciting app addition. We've added an Abandonware app for playing old DOS games. It comes with a collection of cyberpunk/sci-fi hits and other classic games. Games download to your browser storage and you can even add your own. Enjoy!

We've been busy working on an atproto docs suite, with keynotes in PitchDeck and spreadsheets in DataGrid. After today's @standard.site document lexicon announcement, we’re adding Publisher for creating articles and publications. Here's a workspace with Publisher, DataGrid, and PitchDeck open.
