I see the need of regulation just as 4 the "USB-C outcome" (in the EU) to divide batts into LV/HV DC, 1 standard connector 4 hv/lv, BMS (secure) standard protocol, batt unit sizes, etc... Need 4 sodium & other technologies (re: mining/resources) *hv = high voltage

Lead/acid later still only enabled short range use(weight/capacity/lifespan).Technology now opens way to combined home/on the road use & cd lead to demise of thermal power plants.
