that's crazy to me! i feel like influencer culture is like... a very, VERY american thing. not that it doesn't exist everywhere but ... more people, more influencers and all that. Definitely feels like a capitalism move the US would jump on before the UK, i'm surprised!

ive always lived pretty rural though so if the stores in like... TO or Edmonton are overloaded with screens, i wouldn't know it anyways. all i can think of are the hot deli menus though lol

the US has digital ads in its grocery stores? damn... we have animatronic chickens by the eggs and monkeys on vines by the bananas ( farm boy )... another W for canada the only tech grocery stores ever needed in the aisles was those red automatic coupon dispensers though tbh

i'm considering buying again because then i can...take it with me... to other places. I wish I could carry over save data though so i could do a regicide run lol ( FEFW min maxing is pointless, even on hard it's SO easy... i yearn to multiclass and make weird builds with my archetypes again... )

You become complicit in its acceptance and normalization. Whether you admit it or not - looking the other way is exactly how these things happen.

Lrp Going back to the post i shared yesterday, regardless of your reasons for staying there - by doing so you are contributing to a culture that normalizes csam, racism, nazism etc. It DOES change you to witness, exist among it it everyday and have it *lose* it's shock value.

I'm just so, so happy to be able to carry on this small but big community event and create that space for artists and fans to get together and be silly and enjoy their thing in all sorts of unique ways!! And also bring all my own fan event dreams and creations to life! I'm just so happy and excited!

We were in this middle ground of "it might be way smaller because it's the last ffest instead of the first...but it might be way bigger because also Halloween party..." so to fall squarely in the middle is wonderfully perfect. ☺️❤️ ( I think we'll have lots of last minute and door sales too )

Which is where I'm also grateful that my co-host and our core volunteer team have almost a decade of yeti experience. It's all in excellent hands and it's gonna be an excellent time even if it's not *exactly* as I imagined it would be. And I'm absolutely thrilled we've surpassed April's event!!!!

110

Aelynn 🇨🇦 FanFest@Home @aelynn000.bsky.social · 13h

I'm really looking forward to hosting the event and hope I can be present for the whole thing because I don't want to miss one silly second!!! But if I disappear for an hour here or there - I'm fine, I'll be back! 😂 might just need to recover in my room for a bit.

Been really goin' through it with health stuff but having some local xiv friends and fans step up to help cover spots for ff@h with programming and merch makes me so, so grateful. 🥹 Gonna do whatever I can to repay them but goodness am I glad the community is as wonderful as it is. ❤️

This is specifically regarding the AfD ( right wing Germany party ) traffic but metric lulls and raises are normal. Unfortunately Ukraine did not cleanse x of right wing bots.

IF we get sublord dlc I expect maybe 3-5 chapters each that play very different from the main game or have a new story about the 4 of them together or something.

010

Aelynn 🇨🇦 FanFest@Home @aelynn000.bsky.social · 14h

Im def not in this camp. Though it was originally their intent, I believe they cut them before they even really developed anything for them and I can not see them doing another 120+ hrs for dlc when it's usually like 20ish hours for 40ish bucks lol

I mean technically there IS... but the entire party in power is corrupt/bribed/blackmailed so the system can't function as intended. Technically could happen here with our own too. Just totally absurd. 🫠
