Im on good terms with my mom too!! Sometimes I'm just slapped like: "Oh yeah she really did use to be so much angrier for some reason." <- (She needed medication.) It felt like she got possessed or something sometimes. Having our own places really helps a lot! :> "OK Be mad about it." 😆

Yeah! What's weird is she could turn it off and on sometimes? Like she was totally find raging at us for hours, and I'd pray she'd get a phone call or someone would come visit because she'd just.... switch??? 🫨 She's medicated now and much better, so that's good!

I have NEVER yelled at my mother, oh my gosh. Maybe I raised my voice once? My sister would yell though, and it never got anything except for more angry. If I did that the rage and bad mood would have lasted WAY longer, and in high school she sometimes would be mad for multiple DAYS. 🤣

Its ok, lol I survived. just don't understand how someone could call a kid curse words or things like "Worthless". I get getting mad at a kid, but I guess it must be common? It was normal for me lol, seems more unbelievable for a caretaker to NOT get angry once in awhile. 😅

Every parent gets mad at their kids right? Are put downs, and name calling and swears normal?????? Is housing or necessity or gifts held over their heads? My nieces and Nephews can ask ANYONE to buy them something, and after I got yelled at when I was 11-12 I STILL don't ask for anything. 😆

I have come to a realization. If I can mostly manage my emotions without causing harm at 30, why couldn't they do the same for me when I was little?
