03. Echelon It started because she was saved... archiveofourown.org/works/91966956 #FFxivWrite · #FFxivWrite2026 · #Voidboundsjourney

How time flies. Few years ago she was the one being saved by a Fortemps squadron. Given a second chance. A home. A purpose. All she ever wanted was to give back to those people. So at first, she helped at the nursery. At the stables. Lurking when other knights would do their training. Mimicking their gestures when she was alone.

02. Register Anywhere she would stay for longer than expected, she would make herself useful. archiveofourown.org/works/91868096 #FFxivWrite · #FFxivWrite2026 · #Voidboundsjourney

Her steps echoing in the open corridors of the capital, Mephilia still was nervous. The last time she was part of a military branch was in her teenage years… Of course she could handle herself, fight her own fights and lead as well as follow a squadron should she have to. Her sense of camaraderie wasn’t lost. It was… Weakened. But every time she closed her eyes, white strands of hair and turquoise eyes would remind her that everything would be okay.

01. Key A peek about how Mephilia came to be a Scythe wielder... again? archiveofourown.org/works/91846071 #FFxivWrite · #FFxivWrite2026

Taking a few steps towards the desk, the paladin reached for her pocket. Her hand caught the crimson crystal in it, her palm closing onto it. She sighed, closing her eyes. For as long as she remembers, she always held dearly to it. And just as usual, the crystal was conveying such a warm and reassuring feeling… It took her long seconds before she let go of it, putting in on the desk in a tud.

"The battle is quiet now. No duties, no burdens, no worlds to save. Just her heartbeat against mine, and the rare, precious sound of her letting go." Art by: Pakusta 💜: @yuriiiiko.bsky.social

"As she wandered in the cold, distracted by the thought of annoying her wife, Aelis didn’t hear the thunderbolt aimed at her head. Fortunately, Yuriko is always on her guard. And now she’s angry…" art by @tsuchu.bsky.social 💜: @yuriiiiko.bsky.social

Yuriko holds aelis close, and stops an arrow mid air before it hit her rosie headed wife. Aelis looks surprised, afraid. Yuriko is dead serious, furious.

"You've spent so long thinking you're above others. You forgot there are levels beyond yours, Arcadions. I'm one of them."

Gpose of the entrance to the arcadion in FF14. In front plan, two swords are stuck in the floor, ad between them you can see Aelis in the background, ready to under.
