SOUTH PARK: THE FRACTURED BUT WHOLE i fucking loved this game so much dude. the combat is super fun, writing is hilarious but still got me very invested, loved the variety of allies and character customization. i think this is an upgrade from stick of truth honestly. one of my new all time favs!

FINAL FANTASY 13 an example of why you should never listen to game reviews on the internet. this game is really good. it has one of the best parties in the series, goated soundtrack, and a good battle system. it's not perfect, but it's truly an amazing experience. i loved this whole journey

BEAST OF REINCARNATION i enjoyed this game a lot, it's fun, the aesthetic is beautiful, music's great, but sadly there's also a lot of flaws with its gameplay and story. this felt like it'd be perfect for me, and while i do think it's pretty good, sadly i don't love it.

METROID PRIME Genuine masterpiece here. incredible level design, music, and an atmosphere only few games can match. super fun the entire time it immerses me more than most games do. i think this is the best metroid game, would be crazy to see another game top it.

ZELDA: A LINK BETWEEN WORLDS this game is pretty sweet! dungeons are very well made and exploration is good too. Also has a lot of really cool visuals too. I do wish though that the story was a bit more fleshed out, but for a handheld game it's good. Overall fun game and worth your time.

METROID DREAD this was the most fun i've had with a Metroid game. i loved every minute of this game. everything about it is amazing, but especially the presentation, atmosphere, and cutscenes. i also adore how badass samus is in this game, couldn't get enough. added to the goated games list.

FIRE EMBLEM AWAKENING Beginning and ending of the game were incredible story wise. the cast of characters is amazing and lovable, music's great, and visually this game is seriously beautiful. however the maps were pretty weak, and the story did feel boring half the time. a lot to love, but flawed

SOUTH PARK THE STICK OF TRUTH not really new to me as i watched this on yt a lot back when it released. but playing it for the first time, i had a blast. genuinely very well made and some of the most fun i've had with any game. the show's a big part of my childhood so playing this was awesome :D

I AM SETSUNA pretty simple game with beautiful music and a really cool aesthetic. the artwork for this game is also incredible. i recommend listening to the ost if you're a piano enjoyer. outside of that, plot never really got me invested, characters are a bit too simple for me, so it was alright

METROID FUSION very fun time the whole game. atmosphere is great, i hear people complain about linearity a lot but it didn’t bother me at all. one of the best looking gba games easily. overall very solid game i enjoyed it :D

I haven't played in handheld mode, but i can say that the text is bigger and a lot easier to read in DE, i personally didn't have any issues with it unlike before. so i think it should be fine in handheld mode, or at least, not as bad. here's a little comparison of Wii U vs Switch

During my read of Death Note i got a big appreciation for Mello. Dude worked with criminals, got his hands dirty, did anything to solve the Kira case all because he fuckin hated Near. And then his sacrifice is what resulted in Light losing. He doesn’t get enough credit, total badass.

Official art of Mello from Death Note. Here he is presented sitting on a chair, with a chocolate bar in hand to show his aura

since Death Note is done, I’ve needed a new manga to read while at work. Decided on this Judging from some out of context moments i’ve seen, this is gonna be a banger

Xenoblade 1 DE, a remaster of one of my all time favorite games. Dragon Quest XI, extremely fun and charming adventure. Octopath Traveler, which i got on AC:NH’s release date lol. This gave me the interest in the jrpg genre. And Xenogears, during my lowest point, filled me with passion.
