@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 15hNo I'm on Bart the builder's side, and think he had a lucky escape. They really don't live in the real world and spending all that time and money on pink stick on polystyrene arches, then worrying about 30mm is ridiculous. 110
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 16hYes strange matching outfits, and they got their mates to chip in for the other half of the build. I sort of admire how carefree they are though. I'd never dare gamble all my life savings and huge a remortgage on a big pink house while I had no other income coming in... then put it on national TV! 110
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 16hArchitect and berret wearer. I'm already annoyed and calling him a twat. Excellent! 100
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 16hNo I missed that one. Sounds dreadful! I'm going to have to go back and watch that one now so I can tut and swear at them. 100
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 16hFell asleep, but woke up now. It took ten years to get a wooden box... and it's not finished yet! 100
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Spanish food rocks! It's almost as good as Portuguese food. 000
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Oven chips OK, but not had much luck with home cooked chips 120
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 04/10/2026I am... but I'm drinking red wine now to numb the inevitable pain. 120
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 04/10/2026You need to bust that bad boy out and make yourself a Croque monsieur... sir! 120
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Pissed up Sunday night public service announcement! The only thing air fryers are good at is Croque monsieurs and tandoori chicken. They suck at everything else! 540
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026It was OK but the pine needles get stuck between your teeth. 010
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I did see a Christmas tree in Currys the other day. 110
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026You got an 18 year ban for lairy stag do antics? Top work! 100
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Yeah having a ASHP that cooled too and ran off solar for the hot summers would be pretty awesome! 110
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Interesting and definitely worth getting the energy consultant round. The way technology advances there might be newer better more suited solar and heat pumps soon too. Each year the PVs get smaller and more efficient. 100
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026We have solar here but as it's a detached house with solid uninsulated walls I don't think a heat pump would be that effective. We would need to apply the external insulation render which would cost tens of thousands and look pants... so log burners it is! 200
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I had hear the riffs and pounding rhythms from that picture! 010
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Similar price as here. Gas prices are going up again here so I'd like a log burner in every room really like the old days. That's how this old house was designed anyway. 110
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Awesome! What type of stuff are you playing? I didn't want to just assume riffy desert rock type stuff because the guitarist has a cap, beard and an SG! 😁 110
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026That's pretty good then. Seasoned hardwood is about £100 per tonne sack here, but that's about 1m cube not a tonne in weight. So normally about £200 is enough for us for winter... but we've only had log burners for a couple of years and not had a severe winter yet. Looks like you've got loads there! 110

@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Ha yes this is very true! Although I don't really like Shedded Wheat so I'll stick to the dessert beer. 100

@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Cheers Jeff! We all know it's peek Slayer and a total fucking high point in metal 🤘 110
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Well likewise mate, you helped me out numerous types in the homebrew and brewing days! Many thanks for that 😊 110
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I'm rubbish at describing and defining stuff so I'd definitely fail that. All I could say is it's a hoppy one! Or it's a stouty one! 😂 010
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I couldn't drink them all night but like them as a dessert after food beer 100
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Yay congratulations mate! You already knew the stuff years ago though right? The bit of paper is just confirming that! 100
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Beer and fire, two of the best inventions ever! Cheers sir 🍻 Along with metal too obviously 🤘 010
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Time for some Messa, I'm seeing them again in November, one of my favourite bands from last year when I got to see them twice. Mind blowing both times! 030
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 02/10/2026October is here so I can play more Type O Negative... not that it's any different to previous months 010
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Had a couple of beers already and watched a filum, but now time for another beer and music. First up is Danzig 4 and a stout from the cupboard 🍻 160
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Me too, I homebrewed a 6.66% BIPA just before last Christmas and it was amazing! In fact I might have to see if I can sort it out and make me some more! 140
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I'm out of stock currently but will get a good supply in for supping by the fire when the nights draw in. Cheers 🍻 I got a Thornbridge session BIPA btw 120
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 30/09/2026They are both half hour episode shows and quite lighthearted fun, so a nice relaxing watch with a cuppa in the evening... that's why I like them anyway. 000
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 30/09/2026It's absolutely brilliant, one of the best things I've seen in a very long time. Small Prophets also great. 110

@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I got to reply with 'yes please Henry, I'd like to buy your book' haven't I? 120
@AdySaisons @adysaisons.bsky.social · 30/09/2026It's the most British thing ever! I realised I forgot The Detectorists off my list, but only got ten options and went for a quick list off the top of my head so I didn't deliberate on it all day! 😀 110
