people need to get more willing to tell their friends when they're wrong. friendship doesn't equal unquestioning support nonstop. yeah, you might fight and you might lose some friends. i think that's better than constantly avoiding conflict and building up anxiety.

While it was all a carefully constructed lie to keep me under his finger, and the person was made up in the end... I'm still ravaged by the trauma of losing a friend to suicide at a young age, and being convinced what I'd suffered was real for like 6+ years onward.

How do you communicate to everyone you know that it's not that you don't care abt their issues it's just that you're genuinely so close to snapping you can't be the therapy friend or the dad friend or be there for anyone anymore because ur so close to exploding that anything could do it

Weird fanart and memes I redrew that I found on unsourced Pinterest pin's and G*y C*hi's Facebook page. #silenthill #toony #cartoons #fanart

Various crusty chibi style colored sketches of James Sunderland from Silent Hill 2.

From left to right, top to bottom:

1. A close up of James from inside a microwave as he watches a pizza heat up.
2. Maria grabbing James by his shoulders and hugging him in a very stereotypical "moe" way. They both have cartoony/anime expressions. James is surprised and confused and Maria is smiling for the camera.
3. A can of "hyper-spray" cheekily labeled 18+
4. Chibi James and Mary kneeling and embracing. Mary has a halo and angel wings. Both are smiling, while Mary is crying a little.
5. James epic face. He has a gun :D
6. James and Drugs. James is posing with his iconic pipe and holding hands with a friendly little cartoon bag of cocaine. The cocaine bag is smirking and has one stick arm posed hand on his hip. James seems to have some residue under his nose.
7. The dastardly mannequin. A mannequin monster posed like an X with it's legs sticking out goofily. It is also wearing 2 pairs of dark slacks on either set of legs.

My idiot coworker who's a very clueless gay guy voted for Trump but now is nervously asking everyone why they think Elon did the Nazi salute. I can hear the regret and concern in his voice when he talks about it. "Haha.. why are people saying told you so.. you guys see that?" Yup, told you so.

Practical shit: If you're in areas that aren't used to freezing temps, you may want to leave at least one water faucet dripping tonight. If you're truly concerned and can afford it, fill a bathtub. Losing water is rare in freezing temps but it's but it's been known to happen.

Seeing a lot of new people coming over here or people who are rarely here trying to use it more. Glad to see that, but just a reminder to everyone already here if you want to help people feel better here than the other place, make sure to interact with them.

If I could list and articulate every part of the Silent Hill 2 Remake that blew my mind or made me go "name another game that does this THIS GOOD" it would be a very long list, I don't care how many flaws it has, it has too many shining moments of triumph.
