WIP… I’m playing around with materials so not sure where this is headed. A bajillion tiny awl punched holes. I feel like this tracing paper will be involved…some red thread, I think… we’ll see.

Almost done with this one. The last tiny detail will have to happen when everything is a little drier. 10”x10” oil on panel.

Working on this little painting of me as a kid. I kinda love it.

It’s rare that I paint the same image twice, but I really loved this one and it sold a couple of years ago. It’s wild to see the growth over the last five years.

Recreating this painting that I did a few years ago and loved. I “accidentally” sold it (I forgot I had it for sale on a site…it lives in Norway now). This one is much smaller, but I don’t have a ton of wall space for huge paintings these days anyway. Looking forward to having it back on my wall.

Came across some prints (that I didn’t remember I had) while unpacking at our new place. They’re $50 each if anyone is interested…

Things continue to be trash out in the world…so I made these little gilded icons of my kids.

Not sure who on here follows me for this sort of thing, but I’m opening up 10 commission spots. Let me know if you want details since I can only type so much here, lol. Still figuring this platform out I guess…

Anybody out there in the bluesky universe want to purchase one or all of these weirdo little paintings? I’m moving to a new place in a few weeks and I’d much rather mail them than move them, lol.

For those who don’t know me, I’ve got a kid overseas on a fellowship that would have required her to work in public health for a year when she gets back. She’s pretty convinced that there’ll be no public health by the time she gets back. Plus she’s Black and a woman, so…

This pool has been stressing me out for days…I think it’s finally there.

Work in progress. I feel a way about posting the stuff I paint while…well…everything, but maybe y’all could use a little black joy peppered into your day. This pool water is making me 😵‍💫 30x40 oil on canvas.

Today is my wee one’s 16th birthday. This kid is the goth pixie child of your dreams. Funny, smart, kind, an old person in a young person’s body. The only thing they wanted for their 16th birthday was to get their septum pierced, so this is 16. Happy Birthday, Zion Sage!

I really enjoyed this red period. So many paintings of my kids in masks. This one is one of my favorites.

An oil painting of a girl in a raven mask, white hoodie and white socks, sitting on a low wooden stool, gazing off into the distance. The background is an intense shade of red.

More art. My space in our Chicago apartment is super limited. It’s a huge change coming from having my own separate studio to working in my living room again. I’m making so many tiny paintings. 11x14 oil on panel

A black and white oil painting of a young girl with a huge smile and whose hair is filled with various beads

Posting some art. If you followed me on IG I posted a lot about my family and art for many years. My kids are all big now, so this page will probably be mostly art. Self Portrait 24x48 oil on canvas.

First post over here. Figuring stuff out. Little introduction I guess: I’m Adrienne. I paint stuff (like this little oil painting among other things). I’m the mom of four humans, almost all of them adults now. They’re pretty cool. I’m the wife to one dude. He’s also pretty cool.
