I spent the last few months illustrating this early readers' book for Arena Verlag - my first kids' book that isn't (strictly) a comic. Coming January 2027! www.arena-verlag.de/artikel/dino...

Book cover: Dinopark-Geschichten, by Sabine Zett & Adrian vom Baur. Two cartoony kids visit a dinosaur theme park and get scared by a mean-looking T-Rex head. A huge brachiosaurus, lots of trees and bushes, and some rollercoaster tracks are in the background.

When I first heard they were doing a For All Mankind spinoff retelling the early space race from the Soviet point of view, I wasn’t all that interested. But that’s not really what Star City is. It has more in common with Chernobyl or The Lives of Others than any sci-fi show, and it’s amazing!

English version of @leafvangenova.bsky.social's & my comic strip that can be seen on Berlin subway screens this week:

6-panel comic strip of a mother and child playing with a lion, a tiger and a police car. The lion (played by the mom) tells the police that the tiger has been hurting the other toy animals, but the police car (played by the kid) says it doesn't see anything and drives away again. The mom notes that this is "a surprisingly realistic scenario".
