Adrian @adriantm.me · 28/08/2026I will forever read these posts in the voice of the Joker. Thanks Mark Hamill 001
Adrian @adriantm.me · 17/08/2026They are fooling themselves that it's about convincing Republicans or possibly independents, but they fail convincing Democrats that it's worth going out to vote. The largest "party" in 2024 was non-voters, Trump got 77 mil. votes, about 90 mil. people didn't vote. 000
Adrian @adriantm.me · 07/05/2026Wow, but I get it, it's a bit more interactive than a pet rock or a Tamagotchi. 000
Adrian @adriantm.me · 06/05/2026Depends on category... But are those people who fell in love with AI, or use AI-exes typical? I wonder how prevalent is that. 110
Adrian @adriantm.me · 06/05/2026I usually dismiss this as an exaggeration as I never had the inclination to chat with an AI, I do use AI a lot for coding, information, or having a concept explained to me, but I would never have a "personal" chat because I'm not interested in computer "feelings", but I guess people are different. 110
Adrian @adriantm.me · 11/04/2026at some point it will turn on by itself, it's a simple maneuver, but NATO could help us, but they don't have the guts, but we don't need any help 010
Adrian @adriantm.me · 03/04/2026Somebody vile was replaced because they were not vile enough, should we celebrate? 000
Adrian @adriantm.me · 24/03/2026Nice of people to assume it's a brain problem rather than malice... 010
Adrian @adriantm.me · 01/03/2026That's a bit like "most sculptors became sculptors because they love to chop and grind stone" People do things for many reasons, I write programs for fun, I like writing code, fixing bugs, but I do appreciate AI help with the code writing/project setup drudgery If anything I have more fun with AI. 010
Adrian @adriantm.me · 28/02/2026Sounds like a very strong case to me "they wanted to use our product and then they declared us a supply chain threat when they didn't get the terms they wanted... so if we are a threat why did they want to use our product in the first place?" 000
Adrian @adriantm.me · 27/02/2026Influenssor? influencer + professor, I guess it's not obvious if it needs to be explained... 120
Adrian @adriantm.me · 27/02/2026A tour de force, explaining free software, linux, compression, public keys, encryption, ssh, github, ifunc resolver to the masses... all in under an hour. 020
Adrian @adriantm.me · 22/02/2026communi... oh, different word. I started to think that Fox and their friends are promoting communism by calling competent people "communists". Maybe they have a hidden agenda. 010
Adrian @adriantm.me · 20/02/2026If nothing else AI will create two classes of people: people who accept it and use it to increase their productivity, and AI vegans (I initially wrote "morlocks" but that's a bit extreme) who will be bypassed by opportunities and will be resentful towards AI and people who use AI. 000
Adrian @adriantm.me · 17/02/2026Only that Section 320 specifically allows moderation. Newspapers are liable for what they publish, but I don't think they can be sued for the layout they choose to use and where they choose to place the articles, but that's a moot point anyway because 320 doesn't apply to paper newspapers. 100
Adrian @adriantm.me · 17/02/2026So then, if different services promote posts, regardless what tools they use for that they perform a similar act. I understand that it's icky to say that automatic algorithms are doing journalism, or they are reviewers, but we are talking about what the action is, not about the quality if it. 110
Adrian @adriantm.me · 17/02/2026Is a professor who recommends a book becoming the publisher of the book? Is somebody who sends a link to an article liable for the content of the article? Should they? (it's not a rhetorical question, I just wonder) 110
Adrian @adriantm.me · 14/02/2026It's hard to understand when your donations depend on your not understanding. 000
Adrian @adriantm.me · 13/02/2026Well, most of the watches are not quite "screenless"... Screens are very useful, Alexa and devices like that tend to devolve into devices used for setting kitchen timers and a quick weather check, few people want to have conversations with their devices. 100
Adrian @adriantm.me · 08/02/2026"Before entering WWII, US provided crucial aid to Britain: over $31 billion war-time aid through the 1941 Lend-Lease Act, which supplied planes, ships, and food. Earlier, in 1940, the U.S. sent over 500,000 rifles and 80,000 machine guns, and exchanged 50 aging destroyers for naval base rights." 000
Adrian @adriantm.me · 04/02/2026"We learned this after the fact" I guess doing "their own research" didn't help much... 010
Adrian @adriantm.me · 02/02/2026What border where they protecting in Minnesota? Where they stopping the Canadian invasion? 100
Adrian @adriantm.me · 01/02/2026So where do I stand that I hit like before I even started playing? I knew it was going to be good. Thank you for saying what needed to be said. 010
Adrian @adriantm.me · 31/01/2026if saving the world is profitable, why not... Talking about climate change is useless with people who are are political about it. They are like idiot savants about that, they will tell you stupid details, but they won't be able to admit even a single piece truth that comes to contradict their view 010
Adrian @adriantm.me · 29/01/2026Must be something about heat pumps, right? You have my full support. 010
Adrian @adriantm.me · 28/01/2026If they did that Renee Good and Alex Pretty would still be alive today. Let that sink in. 030
Adrian @adriantm.me · 27/01/20261. If they shot domestic terrorists as Trump claimed why is this dude demoted? 2. Lying about murdered people from people in power should not be tolerated, they are just as guilty as Nazis propagandists during WWII. They are at least aiding and abetting murders. 000
Adrian @adriantm.me · 26/01/2026"Unmask and prosecute ICE" should be the slogan of all the Democrats running for election. 020
Adrian @adriantm.me · 25/01/2026The difference is also that it wasn't a governmental agency who killed Kirk and we haven't had officials telling us not to believe our eyes. 000
Adrian @adriantm.me · 25/01/2026inaccurate, they are not on the knees being executed with a shot in the back of their head. 000
Adrian @adriantm.me · 25/01/2026There's a saying "all hat, no cows" but here it's not entirely accurate. 010
Adrian @adriantm.me · 25/01/2026Stolen from reddit: "Hypocrites, would you still hypocrite if the hypocrite was a hypocrite?" Sometimes, it's useless to ask... 001
