Still don't understand why people touch blood in movies so eagerly. I don't touch anything when I leave my apartment and I still feel gross when I get home.

I'm on week 2 of using mine and I basically love it. Using multiple layers has been a game changer.

Me, when I see film reviews for non-horror movies go up this month.
The cast of Seinfeld in a scene where they are standing in a doorway looking a mix of awkward and disappointed.

I looked into trying some cologne samples (Idk, felt stinky) and I was surprised to find so many posts lamenting the absence of real civet piss in the new formulas. I didn't know this was a thing. The people want wild cat pee on their skin and they want it now.

Bolaño's going to be ok!!!! He just got out of surgery. It turns out the mass wasn't cancerous, or even the problem. Apparently, he had eaten a sock and it was blocking his intestines. Big B's coming home tomorrow!!
Me and my eternal snack hound, Bolaño.

Don't get pets at the same time. Stagger them by at least a few years. I'm at the vet with my dog Bolaño and it doesn't look like good news. He's 14 and it looks like he has a mass near vital organs. This has been a tough year for losing pets.
Bolaño, the romantic dog.

I started about 20 days ago and here were my results this afternoon. 31.2 wpm. I don't think I'll feel comfortable switching entirely over until I hit at least 50 but things seem to be progressing steadily. Good thing I have a new novel draft to practice on.

For a prose writer, Gallium is so good. My home row is now nrts haei. Typing "The" or "said" just feels so much more natural. I guess the designer wanted to balance alternating hands with natural rolls and I completely feel the effects of that.

I went with Gallium v.2 Colstag for anyone curious. I think this may be one of the greatest things I've ever done. The keys make so much more sense. Not sure if my typing will increase in speed but it is so much more comfortable than QWERTY.

My wrists were starting to get increasingly sore after typing sessions so I decided train myself on one of those fancy modern keyboard layouts. Very humbling. I went from about 70wpm (I'm not a touch type wizard) to about 6wpm in my first sessions.

Finished all my summer reads just in time to start on Autumn's more contemplative stuff. I don't plan seasonal reading but it always works out that way. Dying leaves... winter death... my own mortality. I think that's how it goes.

Mentally preparing for October. I haven't had time to watch very many movies this year but all that changes as soon as Spooky Season hits and I review on avg. 3 horror films per day. Last year I focused on 1981. This year???

My love for Emacs only deeps by the day. Every writer should know about this! Today I set up a key bind that automatically adds Roman numeral counted section breaks exactly the way I want them to look within a chapter. C-c s. Or as I like to say C-se puede!

To be fair, I'm a big fan of the book it's just that Steve doesn't do anything very useful in this issue and yet he gets this line landed on him... and a bunch of pretty unearned adoration. Maybe growing up in hell will do that to a girl, I couldn't say.

The beginning of the school year is madness in Oviedo. Nevermind the chaos of organizing extracurricular schedules and getting into a new routine, we also have a citywide week-long raging party called San Mateo in parallel. People wo kids seem to love it...
