Today I laid my beloved and beautiful Emporio to rest. He has left us. My once in a lifetime horse, my soulmate, my everything. I am devastated. He changed my life from the moment we met. It’s hard to comprehend how final our goodbye was, how in the blink of an eye you took your last breath and left us. Even in death you were majestic. There’s so much more that I want to say, how do I even give your perfect soul justice. It hurts to miss you, it’s something I’m not used to. I’m not sure I ever will.
