Procol Harum, the orchestra, nor the Choir had a chance to rehearse together. Gary Brooker had microphones placed behind the cheap seats to see how it sounded. The hit Conquistador was the result. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOb9...

Rewatching 'House', season 8. 'Nobody's Fault' appears to be based on Akira Kurosawa's masterpiece 'Rashomon'; the same story told from various viewpoints.

Today in 1958 'The Friendly Giant' debuted in Canada. I watched it religiously as a kid when the nightly news toted out body counts in Viet Nam, and riots in the streets. Sitting in one of the chairs in Friendly's castle beside a fireplace made me feel safe. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBuF...

Driving people home from a party when I was 19 and the last one in my backseat was a passed out sexy blond in a skimpy top and low rider jeans. Know what I did? I drove her home, woke up her mom, and we got her safely into her bedroom. Guys, it ain't hard NOT to be a rapist!

Three days ago I finished Chapter 11 in Devil Brigham V - 'These Violent Delights'. It all takes place inside a serial killer's head. 2500 words exploring a twisted mind. Haven't been able to cobble together a coherent sentence since.

Took almost a month, but the black oil sunflower seeds in my feeder are being visited by new friends all day. This evening I watched four of them come for dinner and the thought of how the time change would affect them crossed my mind. Then I remembered they can't read clocks.

So BC's idiot socialist Premier Eby has just called for an early election thinking it's an easy win for him, after; removing property ownership rights from non-first nations; an annual budget that includes a record-setting $13.3-billion deficit; being soft on crime.

I love messing with scammers who prey on authors; Which of my novels 'caught your attention'? Who was your favourite 'character'? How did the ending resonate with you? What did you think about the opening paragraph in chapter twelve?

Writing 'Devil Brigham IV - These Violent Delights'. He's on the trail of the Okanagan Valley's first serial killer. I'm unsure how to end it. Should devil; a) Arrest him and perp walk him to jail? b) Shoot him in the face with his famous 12 gauge sawed-off and call it selfdefense?

To the young woman who blasted across a mid-block crosswalk without checking for cars (one who had to dynamite her brakes to save your life); Yes, you had the right of way and we'll etch that onto your gravestone. But don't worry, you're young and will make a great organ donor.

Spent the last few weeks in the Great Depression era, Decided just now to go to the grocery store and said out loud to myself; "Gunna go get me some vittles" Amazing how deep writers sink into their work.
